The Maker is said to have created the world and is all powerful. He is said to have created the Chantry and because of them he is disappointed with his work and chooses to ignore them. But maybe, he is doing something else? Controlling the very hero that is out to save the world from the Blight.
Here are two views that may persuade you into thinking this. Maybe you can add your own.
A person / character just the same as any other NPC is placed into a situation out of their control and then leads them to become a Warden who against all odds saves Ferelden and the world from the Blight. Is this just coincidence, work of a prophet or because they have someone on their side.
The Maker is known as the creator of everything. Such as the character maker? Maybe he is busy aiding the character to defeat the blight. Or he could be making it so your companions are in the place they meet you. An example of this would be Leliana’s dream, Sten doing what he did, as well as Shale.
Just a little fun, tell me what you think of the idea. I’m probably looking into it too much, but it’s a great game that has a brilliant story to make you think of stuff like this. Shouldn't be any spoilers due to the majority being about the backstory rather than the present.
