 Ok so the title was self explanitory. Why would a biotic not have a barrier. Me thinking that a biotic would have barrier chose warp ammo as a talent. So I know it is easy to go and retrain power, but I need to go and get Mordin. An easy fix, but why wouldnt an adept have Barrier?

Cause barrier has 12 seconds cooldown, you don't want that with adept trust me. Adept is probably the class where a shield power is least useful for.

The purple shield bar is called a biotic barrier. Only Vanguards and Adepts get barrier.

ME2 also has the barrier talent that you can learn from jacob, allowing ANYONE to use barrier.

I think his question was: You'd think an Adept would naturally be able to use Barrier. Why is it that the only way one can use it is using Advanced Training?



I agree. You'd think an Adept would be able to use all biotic powers with the exception of Charge.

It's just part of the game. You would also think that any class could hold an AR and pull the trigger.

this. Every class has a "shield" Vanguards and Adepts have a barrier, the rest have a "Tech" Shield. Same for all biotic squadmates...
