To avoid any spoilers, you should read the "Redemption" comics. You will come to understand who this "friend" is and what his relation to Liara truly is.
I have read the comics and came up with my own theory. And if you read everything I wrote you would have seen the part where I said we'll have to wait for Redemption #3 to be released.
Didn't read everything you wrote friend, sorry for skipping that part.
I have my theories as for who the "friend" is - there is not much room for error on that regard - and the fact that !SPOILER! Liara kisses Shepard when they meet does point towards the fact that she still has feelings.
Lol. And that's just it. Feelings. Love doesn't exsist in the future.

She's an asari. Faithfulness doesn't mean much when you live for thousand years and usually outlive your partners. Having multiple partners is pretty common for asari, so we can't use human standards to judge her.
....if that excuse doesn't fly for different cultures why would it fly for different species?
Not only that but she herself admits to understanding the human concept of jealousy. And 2 years is nothing to an Asari so she's obviously not desperate for some loving.

You mean moving on when your partner dies? What culture forces you to mourn for the rest of your life and live in solitude?

...Considering she handed Shep's body over to a group trying to rebuild him/her I think Liara had a valid reason to you know think that Shep wasn't completely dead. <_<

I'm fairly sure that in the future every person, no matter the species, background or gender will have the sexual morality of a nineteenth century white anglo saxon protestant male.Ryzaki wrote...

Then from this we can only infer that within the lore of the Comic, Liara is not the LI of Shepard.

I would inject a neck bomb to make extra sure.

I'm actually agreeing with you there. It's possible the inflection I'm giving it in my head isn't translating well in text. Unless you actually mean that other cultures shouldn't be different, in which case I don't, but I'd rather you didn't mean that, as it would hurt my head somewhat.Ryzaki wrote...

I would get to spend eternity next to waffles. Why would I be disapointed? I know I could not eat, smell, touch, or rub the batter over my incredibly sexy chest like I do now (side note waffle batter is the best exfoliator known to man. That is science fact. look it up) but I find it acceptable.
Neck bombs are so last year. Now knee bombs thats the new hot thing.
Question is the new comic on the website? I cannot seem to find it.

I'm not saying that Liara wouldn't feel a different way but I think she would wait for Shep of all people personally.
And yeah you're hurting my brains. You meanie.

Your goddamn right you do and so do I,the only way they can know I'm dead is after my body leaves that canon, and makes it to the other side of the grand canyon.

Oh, and to all those who say the comic is taking place in a 'canon' universe, I disagree. There's a reason why the additional ME media --books, comic-- only refers to the events of the game in the vaguest of terms; There is no canon!
Even the decisions made for you in the first game should you start ME2 fresh were not 'canon' decisions. The developers picked those actions as they felt they'd be the easiest to explain away to new players.

Can anyone point to ANYTHING in the comics that even remotely implies that there was something between her and Feron? The OP is imagining things IMO.
Could've swore I said wait till the third comic. Basically what I'm saying is I could be wrong. I just want to see if people agree with me that she is a cheater who likes Drells' body parts.
