I have to say Insanity kinda showed how ****ty the AI actually is. It oddly balances out your squad dying due to artificial stupidity and you being able to exploit enemy artificial stupidity. Only thing you really need your team for is last mission simply because you have limited time and simply can't do it without squad firepower. I am not allowed spoilers but I am just saying check your enemy speed and pathing. And check if they follow you everywhere or if there is maybe a spot you can use to finish them one by one. I had some fun revalations on horizon and when you get the IFF :P ME2 is maybe 70-80% shooter/combat game, maybe Bioware give more control about the team in ME3, since if something is such a big part of the game, it should be ... deeper ... as in it should have more focus.

To not sound too negative, I love what Bioware is doing. They are the flagship of RPG. I just downloaded an RPG made in germany by a german company which got same review from a german gaming magazine (87%) as ME2 and have to say, it worst RPG I played in years. Doesn't only play other league than Bioware, it is MANY leagues below. So all my complaints about Bioware got washed away in one day when I bought the game for the same price I paid for ME2, with same rating in a gaming magazine and wasn't even half of what is normally expected from Bioware products. Neither content nor amtosphere nor story, nothing, Bioware beats it by millenia in any aspect of gaming. You only appreciate something if you get to see what you could get instead so Bioware is the only hope for my future RPG supply. Keep going guys! Keep going!

I could use some tips for insanity! I'm finding it seriously difficult... I am currently playing the Archangel mission and cannot close the final gate, which is housed in a large room with seemingly infinite enemy spawns, and I am working against a time limit, (archie's health bar). As soon as I enter the room my maxed out tech-armour gets ravaged and sometimes I am killed outright before reaching the first part of non-destructible cover. Am I using the wrong class? I was wondering whether or not I could skip out large portions of the game and get on with the suicide mission just to get the achievement, I am not enjoying Insanity as much as I did in ME1!

That part of Archangel's mission is difficult on any level. What's challenging is the enemy AI is not predictable at all, it will change it up as much as you try to adapt your tactics with each play. As Sentinel, make sure your tech armor is full before advancing. You'll have to choose well-timed and calculated opportunities of vulnerability in order to push through. Rely on your armor. The mission's a lot easier for the Infiltrator with cloaking maxed out.

QFT. Also, try to beat down the opposition one cover section at a time. Charging forward will do you no good, the amount of damage you can take in Insanity is too small compared to the fire you are taking. If you see and opening near the end go for it and try to suppress the last wave while staying at the side of the bulkhead.

Good luck to you mate - if you haven't finished it yet -.

Thanks for the tips... I ended up re-starting my insanity run and am about to attempt the Archangel mission after recruiting all of the other squadmates that are currently available. Really not enjoying this Insanity playthrough, the glitches in the cover system become really prevalent because you are forced to use cover at all times. All the other missions have been relatively doable so far though, hopefully Archie won't give me too much trouble... I'll take the Cain in with me just in case Image IPB

Best of luck to you friend. Remember, when you reach the bulkhead section take it slow and move carefully, one part at a time. You'll make it through eventually.
