The OP
isn't being obnoxious or trying to start a flame war. He's just saying
why he doesn't want to romance Tali. He's (or she) is by no means
hating on Tali.Raltar wrote...

She was considered an adolescent by quarian standards in ME 1. I guess she's two years past adolescence.
and there a quarians on the flotilla who are already asking her to be an admiral.
the "she's too close to a kid" thing does not fly. sorry.

It's probably one of the better done romance plots.

Quarians and Humans have similar life spans. Shepard was mid-late 30s in ME1? Shepard wouldn't be aging since he was dead for the past two years, so Tali gained some time. A ten or so year difference isn't cradle stealing exactly and has a large precedence in human culture.
As Pronto said, a Paragon Shepard won't be taking advantage of the relationship. A Renegade Shepard can be taking advantage of any of the relationships.

Shep was 29 in Mass Effect I believe.

But to answer the OP's question, no, the issue isn't ever brought up during any of the interactions with her.

No need to apologize. My post was merely a statement of fact.
Honestly, if I wanted to romance Tali then I wouldn't feel like I'm taking advantage of her. I don't want to, though, so I think if I did romance her then I would feel like a d-bag.
As I keep saying with these conversations, it's all down to personal interpretations.
EDIT: I use way too many commas.

Remember that the quarians have a demonstrated blindspot when it comes to their admiralty and the intelligence of said group.
I mean, we've got Admiral Xen'Morrigan with her "I'll enslave the geth again and hope they don't rise up once more!" ideas.
Then we've got Admiral Rael "I'm impatient, let's network geth together and ignore safety protocol for great justice! Oh noes, geth are loose!" Zorah.
And then we've got Admiral Loghain.
Besides Tali's aunt who we don't see enough of, and Admiral Qwib-Qwib, the quarian admiralty is full of idiots. And Qwib-Qwib has his mental lapses too.

Does anything more than this need to be said in this thread?

Interesting how Google seems to think you're the only person on the internet with that picture.

Don't get me wrong. I like Tali. A lot. But I can't bring myself to romance her. The power differential between her and Shepard is just to great. He's a decade older than her, she's barely out of her teens, and it's pretty obvious she's nursing a huge crush. This is not a relationship of equals. Shepard could take advantage of her in dozens of small ways. I'm curious to know if the romance deals with these issues at all, or if this is one subplot I should avoid for the sake of my blood pressure.
I had the same issue with the ME romances. My Paragons usually go through the first game single.
Shepard is only 3 years older than her.
Also, I'm gonna go with the 'you're just a creep' option.

Tineye.org disagrees. It's on at least three other sites. I won't link them, as I suspect they could get me banned.

That, and if you play a renegade shepard, tali's crush turns into a weird obsession with abusive guys.
Well that's how every romance plays out. Don't get me started on the freakshow that is Liara in ME1.

Actually, could you expand on this? I could use a good laugh at Liara's expense.
