[Fuck Your Display Names]

Damn!
When I started to play the expansion pack and seen that imported characters keep previous romantic relations I decided to start game over. I've spent few days to create a new char, avoiding errors I made first time (arcane warrior - full magica build - realy formidable thing), I've developed romantic relations with Leliana and now you tell me that I simply wasted my time!
My main char is strong enough to play solo and I have no interest in new companions, such as idiot healer or How's bastard, nor I would play with some witch, Morrigan V2.0 (I've seen in the trailer), or silly dwarf from part 1. If expansion pack was meant to be a sequel, It should not cut off a half of my companions.
Yeah I know that good fan made content, such as new armors (except retextures) nearly do not exist, I know that there is not a single custom animation made and no way to do such thing, as far as nobody knows animation file format, but honestly, I still was waiting... I don't know what... something valuable.
I don't know about you guys, but for me, personally, this game ended today - I don't want even to remember it. This expansion pack should never be made, IMHO.

P.S. By the way, I hardly can remember such totally useles class in RPG games, as Battlemage in new expansion.

This is almost dead on really. There were conversations between Leliana and myself that ended with promises of adventuring together and being with each other after the Blight was over. Additionally, the epilogue text clearly states that Leliena stays "with" me and we go rebuild the Wardens.  How absolutely silly is it that here is the expansion, all about "me" rebuilding the Wardens, and she's not there?  That just doesn't make sense. This is a HUGE contradiction to no end.

I agree, it makes no sense for Leliana to not be with the Warden.

huh? the real life Leliana voice character is Corinne Kempa, look at the credits in the Origins manual

She can be found here  http://www.excellent...tist.php?id=134   click on "playshow reel" its a demo of her work.  I assume bioware came here, listened to her voice and offered her the role.  Sounds just like Leliana's voice too!

Nooooooooooooooooo, Where is Leliana? ( It s not the same without her. And i had a special relation with Whinne, I met her in a city now, but she acts like a former friend, she will not come with me I am stuck with a playboy healer, I executed Howl s son and I pray that maybe Morrigan will join my party in the future. So so sad, pls reconsider to add in the next addon/expansion our former friends as an option to the party.

maybe bioware is planinng dlcs for the companions of DA:O  leliana , zevran, allistar, for give to us the real happy ending for our warden, and
prepare for a new character in DA2

If that's true that's incredibly lame. First we get an expansion that takes away more than it adds... then you can pay extra to get your old stuff back... /facepalm.

i was hoping she return as a companion for DA 2  But as many will know it is very unlikely that our guard is the protagonist of that adventure


if the dlc, offers a simple mission with her and has nothing to do with DA: Awakenings then not worth it, and also if is a simple cameo like wynne,allistar

but if  style of shale's dlc , she join our group to further discussions with other companions  and others, maybe

but i dont like the  the new DA Awakenings conversation system : , then do not expect interesting  conversationss

very smart indeed. i hated the game until i found out Leiana was coming back.

and i've finished it so no one can say i didnt try and love it. oh the expansion that is not the whole game. so have you found her letter yet?

Hmmm, I sort of expected this.

Still, it's a bummer...

Like many people here Leliana was my favourite (ranking her the highest of all most liked companions).

Good thing I'm still playing Dragon Age: Origins then. I've bought Dragon Age: Awakenings early on and the disk is still in the box collecting dust at the moment (same for Mass Effect 2).

*Sigh*...I'm such an idiot (I'll play both of them in a month or 2, promise).

Anyway she reminds me of Imoen and Aerie (of wich Imoen was always in my group, just as Leliana is...coincidence or not, they're both rogue-like types).

If she is brought back as a DLC then I guess I'll have no choice but to dish out the bucks I guess.
