On a much more important matter, Corinne Kempa is pretty damn hot. Sexy voice, sexy body, sexy face. She needs to become your new Jennifer Hale BioWare so get on it.

Also I looked up her websites whois information (the facebook page is linked from there).  If it is a April Fool's joke it's had a little more effort put into it than I would expect.  Like I said I'm 99% sure it isn't a hoax but if it is I won't be devesatated

Yes, I checked Corinne Kempa's (Voice actress for Leliana) personal website.  She writes a blog on her upcoming projects.  The DLC is for real ...

why would you have a hard time believing it?  It's gonna make bioware cash, while i may disagree with it from a consumer standpoint, it's pure marketing no brainer genious on their end.

I can't help wonder how the voice actors react to some fan comments but I bet if she read some of the comments on this forum she'd probably get a couple more locks fitted to her house, I'd certainly be a bit worried.

Leliana was also my favourite companion in Origins by far, so this is good news. It's now 7th April and the announcement is still on Corrine Kempa's site and without a day date, so I don't think it was an April Fool's joke.



I hope the DLC will recognise the fact if you romanced Leliana in Origins and allow it to continue unbroken. It would be very immersion-breaking if it didn't. Even if you couldn't "progress" a romance with her in Awakenings, your existing romance should be recognised in the dialogue between her and your warden.



(P.S. I've also read somewhere a rumour about a possible romance 'patch' for Awakenings; I can't remember where I read it so it might not be true. Has anyone seen any hard evidence of this? If the DLC is in fact that 'patch', it would be the icing on the cake.)

Thanks for finding that source. It looks like you are right about the romance patch being for Origins, not Awakening.

However, the important thing for me is how they actually handle the relationship between Leliana and the Warden in the new DLC, particularly in cases where she had been romanced and was supposed to stay with her warden lover; as I posted above.

P.S. It would be nice if we also got some more Aubrey Ashburn songs in the new DLC, preferably repeatable ones. I guess that might be just wishful thinking.

Just adding my 2cents worth. Yes, we definitely need Leliana back in the game. I guess I'm one of the few who enjoyed both the Leliana and Morrigan characters, but it makes 100% sense (plot-wise) to have Leliana along for any character who completed the "love quest" with her. How in the world Bioware could have screwed up this one simple thing is beyond me...

i thought after reading of the dissolution of romances that leliana would be gone from the game and after reading this thread im overjoyed to know that she is once again back in the game. what i want to know now is if they are going to recognize and continue there relationship between leliana and the warden. at least have convo options to show affection the fact that the "romance" is gone i.e the intercourse doesnt bother me as much as the fact that they need to recognize that the warden and leliana are together...and does anyone know if shes a party member or is it just a cameo
