Well no one can hear all of the testimonials at once so maybe it's just sheer coincidence that by the time they reach each kiosk, it has become Shepard's favorite store on the Citadel

He just wants the discount. So he *charms* them into one. As oppose to intimidating them for one. The charm and intimidate don't necessarily mean extremely nice and polite or extremely cruel and malicious. It's just charm or intimidate.

Yeah, I would have liked to seen some fallout from proclaiming EVERY store as the favorite. The renegade versions work better, as they're each unique.

I feel that same way, I usually only charm one and intimidate the rest. Also many of the renegade options don't seem mean/intimidating at all...

A little deception is sometimes necessary for the greater good. :3 After all, those discounts allowed Shepard acquire items that helped save the galaxy! Oh... that'll be a good promotion for ME3...

Indeed - I think that loony survivalist turian who runs the hunting store mentions something like 'no other gun shop will have this!' when you record the promotion.

I feel cheated by not being allowed to visit the Presidium, aside from the councillors office.

The renegade options for the discounts are a little silly -



Shephard standing outside the shop shouting ' this shop discriminates against the poor ' while wearing a uber high tech full spacesuit with weapons hanging all over it, complete with best-of-best style squadmates

Well I found it a little disturbing. "How about a discount?" seemed so inocent a question, and then all of the sudden my shep was totaly whoring himself out for some credits? Didn't expect that.
