By long-swords do you mean greatswords or claymores? I don't think that's really possible with the specialization we have now. If there was something along the lines of a barbarian, maybe. But somehow I doubt Bioware would go that far. Dual Wielding is already too powerful. That, combined with the lack of complexity involved with such things makes dual-wielding two-handers pretty redundant.

Uhh... Do you mean two greatswords? Or two longswords? There's a difference between the two.MerrickShep wrote...

No I mean one handed long swords. You could only use a Longsword and a dagger or a dagger and a dagger in DA:O but you couldn't use two longswords.
Sorry, I meant to say longswords not long swords.

Wasn't one of the talents in the dual wield spec allowing you to use two one-handed "long" weapons?

Yep, a tier 4 talent in the two weapon tree lets you use a main hand weapon in your off hand. Cant remember which one.MerrickShep wrote...

Dual Weapon Mastery. Allows you to wield full sized weapons in either hand and reduces stamina cost for abilities.

Well when I re-spec my stats in DA:A I'll definitely be looking for that, because the whole time I was playing I wished I could use two longswords =P

FIrst run-through character has two-long swords. It is four tier in the talent tree of dual-wielding.
