How much do I have to have the paragon bar filled to do the paragon option when Miranda and Jack are in a fight?

You need at least 4 bars full. Might be higher if playing on higher difficulty than Normal.

I could swear I was not 100% when I did it my first run through the game, but perhaps I was. It's been weeks ago. I seem to remember doing it very early on in the run of loyalty missions, though.
