Secondly, they are stating facts. Werewolves in DA are a very unique kind of werewolf, and they do not borrow entirely from human myth. There is lore about werewolves, how one of Ferelden's earliest warriors changed into one to conquer his enemies, but it is not known whether this is myth or not. Dogs were first domesticated because they could spot werewolves - which may indicate some werewolves can convert, but whether you see those specific kind of werewolves in this specific game is up in the air.
But werewolves are popular and many mods do try to create them as creatures in the toolset. Given that you play on x-box, I am not sure how you will encounter them in the near future, but the lore does seem to allow for werewolves- so maybe you'll encounter them in the future expansions?

I don't care if you don't think Lucy was nice or not, that has nothing to do with anything. She wasn't lecturing you, but you decided to enterpret her as if she was and managed to cry loudly enough to get the attention of some people willing to play white knights for the "little weeping girl" on the internet and you made Lucy seem like the bad guy in this whole ordeal when it's just someone who can't seem to get over the fact that people post their opinions on forums.

Werewolves, huh? I don't know, dude-- I think it's one of those things that is great for NPCs and for storytelling... but as soon as you introduce it as a player option, it just needlessly complicates things.

I'm with RedRoo on this one, as soon as it becomes a player option they have to come up with a good excuse as to why you can shift between wolf and human form at any point. Also if there is an advantage from being in wolf form, that just takes away from the other options that won't have that advantage. And considering this game is heavily influenced by your origin, it would be a shame to give one origin a great advantage over the others.

Shave Oghren's back and paste the hair on Shale. And then you can play a "Werewolf" Party Member.

Also, PandaThief, from the way you type and word your sentences, you make yourself seem incredible immature, and that coupled together with a plea about something usually doesn't work out. If you want werewolves, either mod it in yourself or wait for someone else to do it

Look Pandathief. If someone was really picking on you, no one would have held it against you. I would have defended you myself. I don't like it when people pick on others either. But I honestly don't think they were picking on you.
I do not see how what Lucy or SoN said can be seen as a personal insult. Nor did I think that dude who came to your defense was being fair in making such an accusation. All they were doing was pointing out what Thedas Lore has revealed to us about werewolves. There was no intention to personally hurt you because they didn't create that news just to make you feel bad.
In the internet is it difficult to tell emotions. Please try and give others the benefit of the doubt, because if you get upset about things that were not intended to be hurtful, then what are you going to do when someone genuinely picks on you?

Yes, ur right and i know this its hard for me to trust ppl tho thats why:( and normally well depending on what they say I hit them. Don't care what gender they are and if i don't accualy hit them than most of the time i just yell at them and end up getting hurt or ask them why they are doing this or that to me...

In Ferelden, we're told, many believe that werewolves are people who can shape from wolf to human after being bitten by a wolf. However, again the developers have told us this, werewolves are a 'true' race that seem to be the children of rage demon possessed wolves.
Does this mean that you can't have a mod where someone is cursed and becomes a shape-shifting werewolf? Of course not, because the characters in the setting can’t read developer posts.
There is magic to turn a human to a wolf and back again – yes.
You can curse people in this setting – yes.
If a person is cursed to change from human to wolf because of certain conditions (anger, night, full moon), the people of Ferelden will call that person a werewolf and they’ll believe themselves to be so – yes.
