This isn't a game with typical gothic horror creatures. You will either have to mod it in or just find a another game that has lycanthropy. If you want to be taken seriously by a developer then perhaps you should try to write more formally in a private message to them.

Look, I wasn't getting on to Lucy_Glitter based on her intentions. I was getting on to her based on what she wrote. No, I haven't been around that long I guess, and I really haven't been interacting with people that much on here. The above qoute comes off as mean spirited. She said sorry though and honestly it should have been left at that.

I didn't say anything more about it after she said sorry because it wasn't my place, I wasn't insulted by this qoute, ms. Panda thief was. I took her apology as genuine and thought it would get left at that.

Lucy_Glitter I'm sure your a great person. I'm not saying you aren't. All I'm saying is what you said in the above qoute looks mean. It comes off as mean. Now, I don't know you, so I don't have the benefit that imported beer apperntly has of knowing that you meant well. All I can do is judge what your saying based on what you typed. It sounds like your saying that she shouldn't be taken seriously, and it also makes new people want to post less. Also I'm not trying to single you out ,your were just the last person to post something like the above, and sure, Pandatheif's posts can be a little more choherent but I'm sure not everyone here was always as intellectually sound as they are right? not everyone here understood going and reading up on the lore before posting or posting in the correct forum when they first arrived or first started attending forums. So maybe give her time to get more eloquent.

Well that's enough trying to defend myself for trying defend someone.

Look Pandathief. If someone was really picking on you, no one would have held it against you. I would have defended you myself. I don't like it when people pick on others either. But I honestly don't think they were picking on you.

I do not see how what Lucy or SoN said can be seen as a personal insult. Nor did I think that dude who came to your defense was being fair in making such an accusation. All they were doing was pointing out what Thedas Lore has revealed to us about werewolves. There was no intention to personally hurt you because they didn't create that news just to make you feel bad.

In the internet is it difficult to tell emotions. Please try and give others the benefit of the doubt, because if you get upset about things that were not intended to be hurtful, then what are you going to do when someone genuinely picks on you?

This is the part that could be taken as insulting. It could have been meant as "Well if your actually trying to accomplish getting a werewolf mod in the game it would help to type more formally to them." It could also mean "You sound silly and can't type right." Pandathief is new (As technically am I) So we don't know which way to go on it.

I agree that nothing SoN said sounds insulting.

Also I'd like not to be referred to as "That guy who defended you..." becuase you know who I am. Also, if you think I'm wrong, you could tell me that instead of acting like I'm not here. Being ignored is as insulting as anything else IB.

I suggest you calm down and don't accuse long-time upstanding members of this community of attacking you, especially when they only offer you helpful advice on how you can get your way.

Fact of the matter is, if you want DEVELOPERS to implement this, this kind of begging it just going to get ignored. If you want to get it noticed, put your facts together, present it well in a PM in the form of an idea and hope for a reply in a positive light.

If other modders in the community are willing to help you out, that's their game, but that's neither official nor, from what I can tell in this thread, very sincere.

I'm rather vary of were-wolf lovers myself, since they strike me as awfully kin to furrydom in other circles. And if that's what gets you going, I'd suggest creating a group for it.

I count at least two personal insults in this post, but because your a long upstanding member no one's going to report you are they?

So say "It's okay Lucy_Glitter, I accept your apology and sorry for thinking you were trying to insult me." Then maybe we can all get over this, and stop going everywhere else on the site making new threads about this thread.

I'm not sure what you mean by this but all I'm saying is that being a long upstanding member doesn't mix with vieled personal insults like you see from Mordaedil. That should cancel out the upstanding part.

When people start defending people becasue they are long upstanding members and not becuse of anything else it becoems a bad thing. I'm not impressed with the high post count. Also when people can get away with making personal insults like Mordaedil plainly does it's not a good thing to be proud of.

If I can find it, one of the videos on Steam of DA:O has wolves walking in the party... and they are big muscllezy ones unlike what I can see outside my door... O_O

When I first came to the Bioware boards, I thought everyone was super mean and insular and always sticking together, and that I would never belong anywhere. I'd just like to pop back in and say that I agree whole-heartedly.  Heck, I've been a lurker for several years, I only started posting on the DA:O forums like.. five months ago?  Maybe six?  I was really intimidated at first, but I started to get to know people and we were all united by our extreme love of the game, I quickly grew to adore most of the continual posters there (Lucy being one of them).  People who were defending her were doing so because we know she didn't mean anything by it, even if it came across harsh, that wasn't her intent, she's always been a very nice, helpful person on the boards.  Like I_B said, we are used to it.

The only issue with the mod stuff is that....Im getting this for 360:( so i think thats where Some of the anger came from cuz everyone says the same thing to go to the tools board and tell them but they can't do anything if its on the 360 right?

Btw BI everything u said made sence to me, I have made friends out of ppl I thought were jerks and yes since i just came here a little bit like maybe a month before the character creator was announced Im am pretty dang new but I should give ppl a change that even seem hurtful but I think its again hard for me to do that cuz I gave mean ppl in other boards and other sites chances and try to be kind to them even tho they were mean and well....it always ended up back firing on me:( They just didn't want to acept my friendship or kindness. Not saying thats how anyone is on this board mind you.
