If you dominate a group of collectors right when harbinger takes over you think he will be under it's effect like with Cryo blasts?

I just took dominate with my Sentinel. It's been fun. I just beat the collector ship using mass dominate. Although I took the longer duration since I don't feel collectors clump enough.

He will be for the remaining duration. I'm actually going to try to get some video of that but several people have confirmed that this happens.

Part 2 / The Gunship
I take on more mercs, and the gunship. Thanks to everyone whose voted in the poll so far. I haven't decided when to close it but I'll give at least a 12 hour warning. Also, like I said before, if you have any requests I will do them.

Part 3 / Dominating the Boss
If it has health and isn't a robot, it can be dominated.
So I'm going to be pushing ahead now. I've got a couple loyalty missions left and then I'll be hitting the Reaper IFF. For fun, I'll also be showing either Legion or Tali's loyalty, but as you can see so far, when the engineer fights geth, the battle is no contest. After that, I'll be doing the Sucide mission Live in all one playthrough, just like before.
I think I'm going to close the poll tomorrow at 12pm (noon) Pacific time. I'm really eager to get started on whatever ends up being the winner, and I've got some new ideas on how to do things to make it interesting. Check the OP to vote.

To the remark about not being enough sentinel's videos I think I didnt see much soldier ones too. Maybe everyone considers them to be much boring or much fps like to make them? I would be interrested! Still considering class for Insanity run, I already played Soldier on Normal, but that was without much knowledge and played Adept on Veteran, so these 2 are my favourites now. Engineer is fun, but I think for the fights on Insanity I will have easier time with Soldier or Adept.

I think right now the Soldier and Sentinel classes haven't really been pushed. They both have high survivability and can handle pretty much anything the game throws at them without too much in the way of advanced tactics or strategy, at least compared to what one has to do with the Vanguard, Engineer, or Adept, and to a lesser extent, Infiltrator. But so far, I've seen very few videos of people attempting to push these classes to their peak or optimum level, so thats what I'll be trying to do.

I decided that the guide(s) need a written component, but rather than clogging this post, I'll be posting it there. Also, I'll be adding blog entries about the Adepting Through Insanity series as well. Just a heads up.

Ive been watching your vids especially for engineer and they're awesome. But how exactly are you getting to Level 13 for Horizon? I'm thinking my game is bugged because I can only reach L10. I sure would like an extra 6 points to spend for that mission
EDIT: nevermind. somehow the 25% bonus xp is not applying after having won the game on veteran and hardcore. I'm a sad monkey now cause I have to restart.

Part 1 / Squad, Husk rush, Avalanche
Grunt is a beast. Mordin is also a nice choice, not just for his 4.5 second Full Cryo Blast cooldown, but he actually has pretty good survivability compared to most of the other casters. 18% shields and 18% health is nice. Also, I'd recommend respec'ing to take Explosive drone for this mission. Attack isn't bad, but explosive is just a little better.

Part 2: Up against a wall, placing Grunt
Grunt proves he's even more of a beast. Remember that after each rush, Grunt tends to move out of position and try to rejoin Shepard.

On my Adept insanity i killed her before she could go up the stairs but she blew up the blockage to the second room. But the few low enemies were a cake walk. It wasn't pretty i pretty much spammed singularity on her the whole time. Having more trouble killing the boss on Mirandas loyalty mission.
I just got the PC version off the game and started an Engineer but it seems that on your 1st playthrough the lower enemies like LOKIS don't have protection so it is not really an insanity run.

At the cerberus base, the game is basically casual. You still take damage similar to the insanity difficulty, but the enemies are really easy to kill.

Would you want to take your time with the Scions after dealing with the first wave of Husks you should not use your Drone. The Drone seems to count as an extension of the player and I think the game triggers a new wave if the player stands on the ground level and not when you stand above their spawning platform. Though your buddies are safe to wander the level they spawn at since they are not the player, so feel free to send them to their deaths as long as you don't find them essential to fight the rest of the Husks.
Should you be so inclined you can fight the last two Scions without triggering the Husks at all. Methinks the Scions spawn the moment you step on the ramp leading down to the Husks which in pop up once you get down on the platform itself.

Part 3 / Dual Scions, Core Part 1
I was really hoping to finish off the level completely at this point, but there is going to be one more section after this that is only about 3 minutes long. Keep using that medi-gel, and remember that grunt is only good out in front if he is alive.

But I am filming the Collector Ship/Suicide Run tonight. I realize I haven't put out any new ME2 stuff in awhile, but that's because I'm pretty much in full Dragon Age mode, as I'm doing a Nightmare guide with a 2-handed warrior as my PC.
I think I'll go back and do legions and/or Tali's mission. I took legion on tali's mission: that was a lot of fun. As a heads up: You can actually wait to complete tali's loyalty mission until after the reaper IFF with no consequences. Something to keep in mind if you want an interesting version of those events.
