These replays looks like you are using some sort of speedhack to slow down the game, then later increasing the replay speed.
You make a whole host of really dumb mistakes, like popping out of cover when you are in deep red veins.
Your first hack is also very suspicious. You click down before you even could have noticed the color patter on the code, let alone saw the matching code you wanted to click.
It's pretty obvious he is using a speed adjustment to alter replay time. Look at all the times he hacks/bypasses stuff. His cursor jerks.
I've been playing FPS way too long not to see tell tale signs of it. If you can't see it, you are either really dumb or really young in the ways of video games. Heh.
I don't thik he's that great actually. Mediocre, at best.
Cryo is trash for an engi.
The cursor jerks because I use a ball mouse.
If you've played this game so much, how come your not registered for it?
It may seem like the speed is altering because my framerate changes anywhere from 50-28 fps during a given playthrough. Its easier to play without recordimg because them my fps would stay at 60.
It would be pretty foolish of me to make about 50 or so guide videos if I was just cheating. I do this because I like the game.

looks fine to me.

Perhaps you could link your engineer video's so we can all see how its done "properly"
Cryo is far from trash for Engineers. I love how peopel immediately judge a power base on the amount of damage it does. They totally ignore its whole purpose. For example, Cryo serves as a form of CONTROL. It does not deal damage on the target and it requires the target to be stripped of defenses before it could actually work. However, when the target is frozen, the damage received is double. THIS fact alone can save you from certain death against enemies such as Krogan, Commandos, Collector Guardians; in other words, enemies with a larger health pool then the rest. Cryo Blast also gives you the opportunity to play more aggressive since the target is frozen, you can run in his face and whack him to death or release a clip of bullets, both ways result in them shattering.
Also, there's no point in criticisizing Gatsby based on his skill. He's not posting these videos to show off. He's posting them to guide those that don't know the class and learn from watching rather than reading. I commend him for all that he's done for the Mass Effect forum community.
Part 1 / Getting the Tempes For this first section, I talk about my build and the squadmates I bring, as well as fighting my way to getting my favorite gun, the Tempest.
ROFLMAO. The old "It's my hardware, not my sofware" claim.
Funny.
You can see here at 5 minutes and 50 seconds or so you do a cursor flourish that is impossible to do with the game running at its normal speed, it just won't accept imput commands that fast. Within about a tenth of a second you move the cursor to the right, then down, then left, then to then down.
I can only imagine your talking about 5:53 when he goes from selecting the second to the third part of the hacking mini game and the cursor moves fast. If he was just pressing down up, left right with one finger I might agree with you, but have you played the mini game? There is no way you can consider that "hacked" speed if you have, using a mouse to scroll through code is more than capable of doing the movement you mentioned.
Sorry but your going to need a more compelling argument than that.

Sorry you are busted.
Sigh. You're pretty desperate to find something wrong with my videos. I know nothing about "speed hacks" or programming. I just make fun Mass Effect 2 videos and help guides.
I'm not playing on 360, i have a keyboard so I can move pretty fast. And I'm good at the hacking game. Here's a tip: Just look for the first 3 lines of code, that will tell you all you need.
Anyone who has the game on PC could show you how quickly you can move the cursor around.
Maybe if you actually owned the game, you know, registered for it, you could get good at the hacking game too, instead of trying to prove that things you haven't been able to do or haven't seen don't exist.

Hey Troll we dont like your kind around here, its not fun when you are not talking about the gameplay instead you are talking about how fake the video or he is hacking to play the game better. Average Gatsby is making great vids about ME2 and is helping people play the game smarter and having alot of fun with different classes. Please do not troll around here, but instead talk about the merits of the game or critiquing by suggesting a different build of a class or strategy, not claiming a person is cheating. Sorry Gatsby about this I know you can defend yourself, but I just wanted to get this out in the open hope this forum can get right on track.

I'm going to have to agree with vhatever on one thing. There is definite proof that you've been hacking in some of these videos.
Especially in the second tali one! You were hacking practically through the whole video!
It would've been a tough fight if the Colossus didn't have to fight it out with his own Geth. A.I. Hack wins again.
I'll have the final part later tonight. And maybe another infiltrator NG+ runthrough/montage. I'm currently sick with no voice so I can't do any audio guides, but I'm getting some good footage on the collector ship.

These are so fun to watch. It makes me want to play an engineer soon.
I just want to point out one thing though. Did you know that when you arm the bomb and you have 10 seconds to move out of the way, you can just stand right next to the explosives and be perfectly fine? It works the other time you do that on another mission, and it's absolutely hilarious. You just lose your shields. It never fails to make me feel tough.
The first way is the avalanche, my preferred method. The second way is no heavy weapons. I went with the sniper rifle as my special weapon, and I'll be using the viper. I may switch it up to the incisor though because the Engineer shouldn't really be using the sniper as a primary weapon but as a situational weapon.
While this section isn't live, the remaining parts will be. I'll be uploading the rest throughout the day tomorrow.
Also, be sure to let me know if there are any particular missions or Engineer how-to guides you would like to see.
Hey Gatsby, I noticed in your latest video that Thane's shield was still at 250. Are you aware of the upgrade bug? You have to save and load at the start of every mission before shield upgrades(and perhaps others) take effect. Same bug might be responsible for your Sheps protection being lower than expected too.
Sometimes you just can't get a good spot. In my mind, due to the layout of the level, this is actually a harder fight than the platforms. Remember, if your even close to thinking you might need to heal or you might die, use that medigel. Its everywhere, no need to be stingy.
