Get over it, guys. I'm a self professed RPG nerd; I love Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, Fallout, etc. But oh my GOD stop whining about the lack of romances in the game. Let Bioware tell a damn story without attaching your own sexual frustrations to it, for god's sake. Find a balance within your lives. Go to a party, have sex, get a a girlfriend, but for the love of everything just stop projecting this...bewildering rage onto Bioware for daring to hinder your masturbation fodder.
yeaaaaaaa, cyber advice from a 13 year old!
Always so much fun!
Anyone else bored of seeing these 13 year olds advice statements like quoted one?
I say 13 years old cause thats what you gotta be mentally to miss the fact that some folks
LIKE RPG romances. The grand romance is a liturary staple in fiction and fantasy as much (if not more) as any epic battle or encounter in a story.
Maybe BeckShort should go read a book (lord forbid), watch a epic movie, see a play, ROMANCE is almost always a issue in these literary devices and plots.
A RPG, In case this new concept to you Shoirt stuff, is a
INTERACTIVE STORY! In DA:O case its a
FANTASY STORY and
FANTASY almost always has (well the good ones anyways) romance as a main plot line.
Stop talking like you know about dating and sex (with actual women) and what not online and think about it. Those killer Lord of Rings movies, well romance was a big part of them.
Star Wars? Romance again was a big part of it
Star Trek? Kirk is famous for sleeping with aliens from one side of the known galaxy to the other.
Or on the off chance you read stuff more involved the "Sponge Bob Square pants", pretty much and grand story from Frankenstein to Dracula to Porkies Revenge involve romance and sex of some sort.
So how about rather then coming online and cyber preeching your need for more killing because you have yet to actually kiss a girl, you stop assuming you know whats best for other people! People want romance in their RPGs because its
ADDS TO THE STORY! RPG isnt all about hacking and slashing. Diablo 3 comes out this year if thats the game you looking for. DA:O is a Role Playing Game set in a
FANTASY setting and romance plays a big part in traditional fantasy stories.
Amazes me how many children now a days just think its all about bloodlust and nothing else.
A.D.D. crowd is a appropriate name let me say.
Appearently they have no imaginations and are void of emotions of any type.
Worst part is this kid, after posting this, probably popped a zit and hammered out a quicky into his awaiting hand feeling all proud of hiself for spelling masterbation online.
Rather sad if you think about it
