On wednesday we will close for entries and people will get a day to nominate 3 albums - after the 3 albums are found i will open a new topic and we will make a standard poll for a day to find the winner.

Overall, though, my vote swings to Purple Lady's 6. And Servant of Nature's album not far behind that.

I just noticed that I didn't include Purple Ladys and Linarcs characters in my preliminary voting as it took me too damn long to browse through the albums and write the post. Just for your interest Purples human female and her male elf would definitely have made it among my favorites.

@Linarc I might be mistaken, but are those pictures you provided the portrait pics? If so then it would be nice if you could include screenshots from the CC as everybody did so as well. I know the portraits look better in most cases but to keep things fair and square it would be best if everybody uses the same source for the screenshots. ;-)

@Deviija: Thank you for your support! But I agree, I myself, am hesitating between some albums, and I'll wait until wednesday to make my final choice.

@Hanik Harran: No problem about your preliminary voting! It was just that, preliminary! So don't think you've hurted the feelings of anyone. I for myself didn't feel "forgotten". But hey, thank you for the edit and the vote on my Human Noble Aeria and on my dalish elf. It's nice to see that other people appreciate my characters.

Heh, I actually already did this the day I got the CC. Dunno how they'll match up against everyone else's, but I'm pretty happy with the Dalish and mage.

@DalishRanger I'm pretty sure you will do just fine. Especially your male elf looks awesome (as I already stated in the pretties characters contest thread ;-).The same goes for the male dwarf and both your humans. Nonetheless we will need screenshots from the CC to properly rate your characters as the portrait shots can be...deceiving. Best thing would be if you just made an album with a CC-screenshot of every character you want in your participating group. In any case, welcome to the contest. :-)

Eh, I can't really do CC screencaps; due to my monitor and/or graphics card, the CC has a bit of a graphical glitch of blocks of color that covers up part of the face. Doesn't keep me from making characters, but I do think it's enough to distort them for the purposes of this. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. Guess I'll let you guys be the judge of that.

@DalishRanger You are welcome. And your dalish elf looks just as good in the CC as he does in the portrait. The glitch might be annoying but the character's face is easily recognizable. Maybe you could create the CC-album in addition to the portrait-link. It would help rating the characters very much. Just my 2 cents. ;-)

Zank you! With Gwen I was trying to go for something that wasn't outright "pretty" by general standards, but had hints of subtle beauty about her.

I had that same issue with the graphic noise, DalishRanger. It went away after I updated my video card drivers.

Did that, didn't work, unfortunately. I'm not going to worry about it much; the CC works otherwise, and I'm not getting DA:O on the PC yet. I'll be using the Xbox version until I build a new PC. Thanks anyway.

yes, you are right, I'm having some troubles doing so, sadly (for some reason the printscreen feature isn't working, maybe I'm just being a noob and there is other feature to take screenshots, if so, please let me know) , but I will try again, if I can't do it, I have no problems being out of the challenge, I agree it isn't fair.

Great! The number of competitors increases more and more. :-)  And there are quite a lot of really good new groups which have entered the contest.

@DalishRanger Please don't worry about the glitches. I my opinion they don't really impair the pics very much. Also some people here have unfortunately provided us only with very small screens, which makes it a bit difficult to recognize their character's faces. And I prefer your big nice screens over those small thumbnailish ones any day (even with a glitch in them) so don't worry. :-) Also your characters certainly live up to their portrait pics. Fasais looks absolutely amazing! You went for a pretty unique look here with that crooked nose and the full lips and it harmonizes perfectly with his dark skin and that feral, wild look. Other highlights include Dalag with his distinguished dwarvish looks and Legam. That wry look in his first picture practically screams for a speech bubble with some witty annotation. ;-)

@Fulgrim88 I think the old fashioned way works just fine for everyone here. And you do have an awesome assembly here. Solona is simply beautiful with her exotic looks and Duran looks as though someone just drank his ale when he was gone to go for a pee. ;-)  I also like the way Aedan turned out. He does look a bit like a ruffian. I hope DA will feature some decent tavern-fights. I can easily imagine him breaking some furniture on other peoples heads. ;-)

@Linarc I don't know if you already tried this but if you press ALT+Print in the CC you should be able to go to a graphics editing tool like Paint or Photoshop and paste it into a new file/sheet. Maybe this option works for you. :-)

@Mesecina Heh, I think this is obvious proof that the contest enters it's final round. You even went to the length of providing your group with a professional promotional picture.   Which looks really good by the way. Is drumming up business like that in line with the contest rules? If so, I might have to cobble something together as well.

@vyvexthorne Daieth really looks good. He has that Erol Flynn look down perfectly. Very appropriate for a rogue imo. :-)
