I used to think that way, but the older I get, the more I've come to realize that the strongest guys are often the ones who're open about what they feel.Jeremy Winston wrote...

I felt like cryinig during that part on Illium where you have to talk to this Asari mother that lost her husband and kids.
Yeah..that was emotional.
Strangely the happier moments shook me up more than the sad. Like hearing from the Rachni Queen--that choked me up. Tali also choked me up some, and Miranda's sister. Seeing Wrex and hearing him say "Shepard, my friend"....was amazing.

I cried and wailed after meeting Kaiden on Horizon.
What happens with Kaiden? He's dead in my Masseffectiverse.

On-topic:
The saddest moment was when i found the body of Tali's father (but i didn't cry, but i was still moved by it), the most "epic" moments was during Tali's trial, paragon charming the admirality board (litterally pwning them), the ship fight past omega 4 relay and when you destroyed the collector base, and Miranda disobeying TIMs orders.
I rarely cry. Really only time i remember crying after a movie, or game was the ending of The Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King.

I've seen numerous posts on the internet that Mass Effect was the first game that made them cry. Well, it's maybe not the first game in history to do that, but this time it wasn't because the game was awful and you just wasted your money but because of the emotional content.
Nope, can't say that I did. Only time I've ever cried in a game is whilst playing Lost Odyssey. Though watching Tali find her dad's body did make me go:

ME1 may have gotten close on occasion, but even that failed to make me shed a tear.

Edit: Oddly, the only game that has made me cry is a weird one. Mother 3, the entire final fight is so tragic. And they weren't manly tears

I felt sad for the Collector General. He's all magical yellow-eye control thingy and then is finally free.jewbagel wrote...
I felt sad for the Collectors at the end. That's probably the only part that really got to me... since my mission was successful. Hard to say what it would of been like had I lost a few crew members (or myself).
But dies.
Ok, I laughed, but that's only cuz of his "OH ****" expression at the end.

Only thing that nearly got me was the romance with Jack... whole thing is just so damn sad. Nearly, but not quite there for the eye leakage... so very nearly.
Same here. I've never cried because of a video game and I probably never will. But when Jack gets all emotional and looks at you with those teary eyes, that just pulls at your heart.

Cry? no, nothing to cry over... the level of writing needs a serious injection of drama I'm afraid before I would cry. Cried from laughter when I seen the reaper human, my god terminator on steroids plus plus, and a flash back to Nightfall Guild Wars.
Glad I wasn't the only one.
Parts moved me, but nothing made me tear up. I did want to throw something at my very expensive TV after Kaiden on Horizon, though.

I did get the chills and the nice little heart rise thing aplenty, though. Particularly to the music and the cinematics on the suicide run. So all is not lost.

The normandy crash site was spoiled for me by the monument. I mean, where was shep keeping that thing? Was it inflatable?

Additionally, I've had a tear the first time I went to the Normandy's crash site, at first it wasn't that rough on me, but the more I stayed there, the more I saw those flash backs, the more the ambient sounds got on me and the more I was emotionally moved, then I saw the flash back of Ashley and it was too much. I'm a freakin' sissy in games when things like that happen, but I don't mind, if I can be emotionally moved or "concerned" in video games it just means it's really good for me, very well made.

Not that I cried at Mass Effect 1 either, but nothing in ME2 is as touching as Vigil, saving the Destiny Ascension, or I Remember Me. Miranda and her sister comes the closest tho, that was a nice moment.
