Nothing made me cry, but Tali's loyalty mission and the Collector general at the end made me a little sad. I wanted to save that Collector when he looked around.

I laughed to tears playing Joker and watching the crew get dragged away. They are nothing without Shepard.

Well, for me, a lot of the stuff was sad... but I only actually cried at one point. Background NPC dialogue on Illium. If you've heard it, you'll know. It's the asari and the salarian who are shopping for a gift. Just... just... GAH.
"You'll make sure she keeps it?"
"Yeah, I'll make sure."
Damn you, Bioware! Damn you for being so damn good at making stuff sad! There was other stuff that made me sad, of course, buuuuut that's stuff that's been mentioned a lot already.
Oh, and one other thing:  "Do these units have a soul?" Damn it, Bioware...

Despite the bad voice acting, the ending of FFX was very well done.

The suicide mission gave me more of an adrenaline high than anything else. Do tears of anger count? 'Cause every time I see that **** Udina, I see red. Not to mention my Xbox is on its last leg and keeps freezing. Action scenes in ME2 and Loading Screens in RE5 seem to be particularly prone to stopping suddenly.

ebay is your friend ... or somewhere similar.
Check out these.

Although there were some sad and heartwarming moments in ME2.. I didn't cry.

I don't think there were any moments that made me cry in ME1, you get back to the action too quickly. Though most of the Tali scenes can invoke emotion, like if she is exiled or if you provide the evidence of her father's experiments.

Last videogame that made me cry was the ending of Metal Gear Solid 3.

yeah your right, but it was worth the 50 hours for the pool scene and the ending. MGS4 finally put me off anything japanese. I. CAN. NOT. STAND. JAPANESE. WRITING. AND .ACTING. it's all about as good as godzilla acting to me.

I cried the when I initially played through Horizon on Insanity. The tears started to fall on the 4th or 5th attempt. Then something clicked, I succeeded right when I was ready to say 'screw it' and bail on the achievement, and then tears of utter joy flowed.

I did the same thing but I did it in the collector ship, the first time you go in. Insanity SUCKS. It's so time consuming and difficult.

I've seen numerous posts on the internet that Mass Effect was the first game that made them cry. Well, it's maybe not the first game in history to do that, but this time it wasn't because the game was awful and you just wasted your money but because of the emotional content.

lol, i instantly thought of MW2 when i read that.
on topic: there where some sad parts but i never really cried over it

The first playthrough, I didn't know who Archangel was. I wanted to meet him, he sounded really cool and useful, and then little bits and pieces here and there... I remember thinking, "It can't be... he wouldn't..." and then some merc finally mentioned that he was a Turian vigilante and I KNEW! And then it hit me that I HAD TO SAVE ARCHANGEL!! My Paragon Shepard took her first Renegade action EVER to take out Cathka.... That scene needed a Paragon greeting where you give Garrus a real hug.

That sounds awesome! The entire scene also seemed to me like you weren't supposed to know who Archangel was. Now I feel bad, because I already knew it beforehand. Oh well.

Never cried. Almost did in the Normandy crash site. Saddened by a few things. Can't remember which. Played through too many times.

I've never cried at a video game, granted I got close at the end of Dragon Age but other than that, no. I didn't feel Mass Effect to be very emotionally engaging at all.

The first game made me bawl my eyes out much more than the second. That said, I did get choked up a lot during certain scenes, but only because I was remembering things from the first game.

There were only three parts where I actually cried: Kaidan on Horizon, the Normandy site. and meeting Garrus.

The conversation between Kaidan and Shepard broke my heart. I was wailing and almost went through a roll of toilet paper. The crash site was very touching too, seeing the flashbacks. Presely's datapad was the defining moment though. When I hear Archanger was a Turian I started suspecting that it was Garrus. Finding out I was thrilled. When I saw him laying in a pool of his own blood, choking on it... Well, let's just say I was close to yelling, "Dammit! Don't die Garrus! GARRUS!"

Well I admit almost cried at meeting Wrex. He seem to be the most emotional to see you alive: "Shepherd my friend!” The others seem a little like: “oh um its you well what do you know who would have thunk it I guess I will see you later or something”

But it would have to be Tali (almost cried when she found her father). I actually cried when she was shot in the head. After all she goes through she ends up as collector chum with a bullet to the brain...very sad. As a matter of fact I will admit I lost sleep over it!

I also cried while laughing at the singing Salarian.

I didn't cry, but I did have alot of emotional moments in that game. And the first one was pretty early on when they killed Shepard - I was like "HOLY ****!? No, they've not killed him" then the air started leaking from the suit "Oh...wow, they have" - I mean, to me, it was totally unexpected. I had seen a video with Normandy's roof torn off, but I had no idea of anything else.
