Really? It has a ROF slower than ****. You basically hold down the trigger and pray it decides to fire just when you're aiming at a moving target instead of hitting one of your squadmates in the back killing your entire team (yourself included).Schroing wrote...

How is that not complicated?

Also make sure you have 100% charge/ammo
This. Ihad this problem. Even if you have 90% ammo, it won't fire. Has to be 100%.

Uh, it doesn't have to actually hit anything. Point it at the ground somewhere vaguely near your target and it will die. (As will you, if you're close.)

It goes where you point it. Not complicated.

No wonder I've had problems with it. The one time I managed to fire it, I wiped out my entire team. Cool in theory, bad in practice.

It's not complicated because the act of holding a trigger down is an inherently simple task.

its not the best heavy weapon, just stick with the collector beam. the M920 needs full charge to fire just once and if you miss (not likely but some how i did LOL) youve just wasted your time. i dont think it should work on a charge just a 1 round clip to make things simple
I don't know, I kind of like knocking half the end boss's health bar out at once.

I haven't tried the items that provide a bonus to the heavy weapon ammo count... I don't think that it is possible to push it to 200%.

Haha you used heavy weapons on the end boss?
Are you a class without assault rifles or sniper rifles?

How can you NOT love a weapon that two-shots the end boss?
Probably because you can only get enough ammo for one shot

How the frick do you fire it?
Standard procedure is to take it to a test-world, one that doesn't show signs of having native life on it. Then hold the trigger button down until the weapon is fully charged. Then duck behind something while your screen goes white and the controller goes BRRRRRRRRRRR and shakes like mad.
Then you take your first breath in several minutes, shakily yet reverently take the weapon back to the Normandy, and never, ever, touch it again.
