My question is, can we share an EA account and access the free DLC that came with the game on both profiles? Or would the different PSN accounts conflict with the DLC?

My brother and I have 2 different PS3 profiles, and therefore, PSN accounts.

In my experience, DLC will work on all the PSN profiles on the machine it was downloaded on. You would not need different EA account.
I have two profiles. DLC downloaded in one profile works in both profiles.
