On one of my carry-over playthroughs from Mass Effect 1, I did basically every renegade option in the game other than not killing Wrex. I kept him alive. When I got to the screen that shows the main carry-overs, it displayed everything correctly - all the options I chose, including that Wrex survived Virmire.
However, when I went to Tuchanka, Urdnot Wreav was the clan leader and he mentioned that Wrex died. I am aware that this is supposed to happen if you kill Wrex in the first game, but is this working as intended for my case? Is this happening to anyone else? Thanks.
Issue with Wrex's death

A game-breaking bug for you then, he is supposed to be alive when you first meet him at the Krogan homeworld.

No, Wrex should be alive. In my Renegade ME1 save, he is alive and clan leader in ME2. That is very odd.

Oh well I prefer Grunt anyways. I'm still curious if anyone else has had this problem though.

He was there on my Paragorn save in which I let him live in the first game. Didn't get around to see what happens with my other character yet.

I let him live in both my ME renegade and paragon playthroughs and haven't had your problem. It is probably a bad import from your ME game.

The import is a bold thing to do, expect a few things to go haywire, but I can understand BW got sloppy when it involves on the MAIN consequences displayed in the import screen.

Hell if I knew that killing Wrex was a "main" renegade option, I would actually have done it anyways. So it pretty much worked out for the better.
