Probably someone already have written about this, but I really hope you fix one most stupid thing in the game fast. Tactics.
Main tactics are kind of useless when playing the mage. Mage require defensive support from the party... and now: if you want to put main tactics so, that your party do not run to pull every *** enemy (but you do the pulling with stave ofc), you need to have main tactics Passive or Defensive ofc. And where is the difference with these??? Passive should be what it is, they do nothing untill told. But with Defensive...
They SHOULD protect the party. Not stand beside the main char and wach her getting ass kicked... as they do now. Please change the Defensive main tacticks so, that NPC run characters do not attack untill battle has started. And when any of party characters are in the battle, all start fighting but stay close to the player run character (i.e. protect the mage, take out melee running up to the mage and use ranged to enemy further away..).
Now I have to spend one expensive and needes slot in custom tactics for every char to have first a rule "if enemy is attacking main character, attact that enemy". Really really stupid and annoying. This gives a HUGE minus to otherwise really good game.
