If you're particularly interested in Tali, would an interview with the person who wrote her lines not be more appropriate? I doubt Ms. Sroka would have much more knowledge of the character than we do. (other than the cues/background she would have recieved for correct placement of emotion in the lines)

Interviews with the primary writers for the most important characters sounds pretty good to me. Even some forum posts with one or two paragraphs per character would be pretty nice.

You're right about that the writers who wrote the lines knows the most about ther characters. But the way people sees those characters are mostly depends on how they are played by the woice actor/actress of them. The popularity of Tali mostly based on Ms. Stroka's performace, how she played the character, how she sees her.

Actually I'd like to see interviews both group. Ask the writers why they wrote things the way they did (I just can't get some of the decisions), and the actors what they think about their (and others actually) characters and the game itself. And not just that 3-4 lines we got in the promo videos.

Most actors and actresses bring something to the character that neither the writers nor the directors think of. Even voice actors.

Watch interviews with actors and actresses over characters they play, and they will usually go into more detail about their roles than the writers will.



It's of interest to fans of the game, and it is pretty standard practice (even for video games.) There's the trailer of all the voice actors out there already.

I can fire up my copy of the Hellboy game and show you extensive interviews with Ron Perlman and Selma Blair about their characters IN THE GAME.



Seriously, stop picking on Tali fans. Even the ones without banners and not posting in those threads (like me) would find this interesting.



I'd be interested in all the VA's opinions - the people who do Garrus, Ashley, etc.

An interview with the writers would be interesting, but let's face it...it wouldn't be as captivating. Would you rather watch an interview with Leonardo DiCaprio or the writer of his role? See what I'm trying to say? I guess Ms. Sroka is interesting to me because of the insight she would provide on Tali. That's not to say I'd love to see everyone else as well! (Garrus, Liara, etc.)

Yes i wouldlike to se an interview with Liz Sroka. to get her perspective on Tali as a person and skill. And her what she think of the voice acting she does whit the character Tali and over the hole game.

BTW, Liz Stroka isn't as "hot" or good-looking as tali, and she kinda has to push her voice for Tali recognition.

I would really like to see an interview Liz Sroka to get some insight on what she thinks about her character and about her views of the Mass Effect universe in general. I also would really like to see interviews with Garrus and Wrex's VA as well .

Actually EA did interview alot of the cast, even some of the minor characters' voice actors. I don't know if they are on the web anywhere, but I saw them with my DVD that came with the CE of the game.

They did pretty cool interviews with Seth Green, the dude that plays Anderson, and others for interviews for ME1. Why can't they do it for ME2 too??

There are some. Take a look at youtube I know there was one with Baldwin and others.

I probably want to see that for almost every character in the game.

 because obviously the voice actors do an amazing job and it be great to see how they got into portraying that certain character, do any special homework, reading, are progressively acting like their in-game character.. who knows
