As much as I love Tali as well as Garrus, I would love to see interviews (maybe each of 3-5 minutes) with each voice actor of main characters. Obviously the squadmates but also other important characters like Kal'Reegar, Joker, etc. I could think of maybe 20 characters that I would want to know the person behind the voice and their opinions on their role and the character.

It's a little weird if people project their feelings toward actual peope though. Yea, Miranda is hot, yea I love Tali, yea, I would get it on with either of them if this was real and I was Shepard or something. But, it isn't real, let your fanatsies run wild but confine them to a leash peope, don't give them too much room to pull or disturbing obsession starts to settle.

These voice actors don't have any opinion on the characters. They voice them because they get paid to, that is it.

Seriously, did you watch the "stars of Mass Effect 2" video.  None of the voice actors seem to show any enthusiasm for their role and they had difficulty describing very basic details about their character.

I think Martin Sheen is depressed that he can't find work in film anymore and has to do voice acting work.

Not that I mind, he and the others all did a good job.

Screw just Liz Sroka. Let's get EVERY cast member an interview. Seriously.
They did pretty cool interviews with Seth Green, the dude that plays Anderson, and others for interviews for ME1. Why can't they do it for ME2 too??

There are some. Take a look at youtube I know there was one with Baldwin and others.

Hmm...I can't find them man. I only got this half-*ssed vid where all the cast has one or two lines that explain, "My character is _______, and he/she is very ________!" ( )

Herrp me out, preeze?? :(

I must of been drunk that night I think that is the one I was thinking about.

Same one?

Yeah, same one. :(

Well, at least we do get to put a face with the voices, now. I still DEMAND more in-depth interviews, Bioware!!! RAAABARABARBABAARAAAA

I want to see more interviews and behind the scenes stuff in general, especially with the lesser known VAs like Liz Sroka and Brandon Keener. All we got was a heavily cut up video with snippets of the more well known actors like Martin Sheen and Yvonne Strahovski.

Maybe that's because it isn't easy to introduce yourself and your character in an 8-second snippet. The "Stars of Mass Effect 2" video is just that: showing who's voicing the game, it's not a character video. Of course, the bigger the name, the more screen time they're given to talk a bit more about who they're playing.

And Liz Sroka seemed very enthousiastic, for one.

I know I'm a late bloomer to these threads, but I'll post anyway.

Mass Effect 2 was the most the immersive gaming experience for me. The characters really felt life-like, thanks to the voice actors, the graphics engine, the facial expressions and such. After completing the game, I felt a little heavy-hearted considering I got a little attached with Tali'Zorah. In the first game, I found her adorable... To be able to pursue a relationship with her in the second one was great for fans of Tali (which I'm sure are many). Anyway, what you said was correct... We have to confine our fantasies to a leash. The problem is that some people really do have a great imagination, such as me (not meaning to brag), so when I encounter such fictional characters who feel life-like, I can't help but be pulled towards 'em. It's a shame that these characters aren't real though... They're personalities and their appearances are enticing. Anyway, I hope that Mass Effect 3 will be better than its predecessor once again!

I imagine voice acting is like dubbing for animated movies. And all the casts have to get in the character to be beliveable doing their job.

Stop posting as if it were lumbering or something. If that was the case I'd say the job would be awfully badly done. And that is not the case.

So it'd be nice to hear what Liz, or anybody else for that matter, thinks of the character they played and the impact their acting brought. The evidence: many character fan groups. Masses of gamers excited by the lines spoken by their favorite npcs, posting how well the emotional charge/weight is carried with this quote or another...

Sroka...hmmm...that this mean Tali is of Polish origin? :P
