Alright.

So I've just finished my first playthrough, I decide to make a fighter, and on the loading screen, CRASH.
I've googled this and found no solutions, I've also tried searching other places (Forums and such) and nothing.
Maybe I might just not be looking hard enough, but I can't seem to find anything.

My Dad (Avid RPG player, so of course he plays this) made a second character while I was still playing my campaign and he was able to do it with no problems, but now that I've finished my campaign I can't start any new games or other campaigns (I'm not sure when this problem started as I never tried a new game between when my dad started his and I tried to start mine). The loading screen usually goes for about 2-3 seconds and crashes to the desktop. Once or twice so far it's gotten to 5-7 *(or something close to that) seconds then crashes. If it is that I just haven't searched enough, then my apologies.
Any help would be appreciated.

Got any mods installed?

Yes, several in fact. Though I didn't hear of anyone having trouble with the game after installing those mods.

Here's the list:

Advanced Quickbar

Fragments of Ferelden (Module)]

Lock Bash

No Helmet Hack

The Icons Project

JBTextures

Improved Atmosphere

Circles Be Gone

Forced Deathblows

Detailed Tooltips



And I think that's it..

Though I say again, I didn't and haven't heard of anyone having trouble with these mods.

I have answered a couple of posts where the answer was that a couple of mods caused a conflict. One even said that they resolved the problem by re-installing the mods. So with the exact same mods, the game worked in one install and not the other. There's definitely potential issues in there with mods. I'd just try removing them all and seeing if the game starts. If it does, well, there's your answer.

I narrowed it down and found that JBTextures causes the crash. I was able to start a new game, finally.
