Anyone discover what gifts really work well with companions? I like the to give the gift to the companion that it best suits. Any ideas or a list?

Haven't seen a list but I know several..



Sten - Paintings

Zevran - Metals (gold bars, steel bracers, etc)

Morrigan - Jewelery

Alistair - Statues

Leliana - Not sure on this one, I've given her shoes and a chantry necklace that have worked.

Ophgren - Alcohol

Dog - Bones are all I've found for him

Wynne - Books



Don't have Shale yet.

For Leliana mostly anything related to chantry and Andraste.

briskojr's lists is good. I only have a few notes to add.



Leliana likes religious chantry stuff and flowers, especially ones you pick yourself (it doesn't have the name of a real flower, so you might think it's a rare herb). She also likes shoes.



Shale likes remarkable gemstones (they're labeled as gifts, but be careful you don't sell them as regular gemstones).



Sten also likes baked goods, even if they're 'gently used'.



Zevran likes Antivan stuff, too.



Morrigan likes a couple of specific books, but you shouldn't worry; I think Wynne refuses them, if offered to her.

In the Ber..whatever Forest you find a flower named "Andraste's SomethingOrOther" which wins big points with her and gets you a note in the codex about her loving Andraste things and so on.

I found that flower at Redcliffe. It was Andraste's ...something. There was a cutscene in which she talked about her mother (trying to be not too spoilerish)

There's another flower in the Brecilian forest

I found one rune that was a gift and it gave me +6 (inf) from Shale.

There's 3 Flowers of Andraste's Grace: Redcliffe Village, Denerim's Elven Alienage, and Brecillian Forest.

Certain Dialogue topics tell what else they like (According to Lelianna, a person is defined by their footwear.....)

EDIT: and Alistair loves runes, statues, and other things of magic.
