Because with class specializations, by the end of the game the chances of your Warrior being similar to mine will be slim to none.

Quality not quantity.

Three classes. Mages get a ridiculous array of spells, impossible to get all in one play through. wariors and rogues have several play styles, not to mention each class has four specializations that you can take two of for each character.

Plus, what class would you add? The only archetypes that seemsmissing are the cleric (and you should be able to do something close to one with a mage), and the monk, but divine magic is absent from the setting and the Shaolin-type monk was deemed inappropriate to the setting too.

With the sub classes (specializations) though there are quite a few more than three. Templar, Beserker, and so on for the warrior alone.

Kind of like how Fable did it, except you can't dip into the other tree's.

I suspect the guaranteed expansion(s) will bring in more.

Honestly, I think it will be more likely for the expansions to include new specialist sub-classes (e.g. duelist, ranger, champion) or new origins, than to add entirely new classes.

I wonder about the "Silent Sisters" that were in the Calling. They were unarmed Monk like characters. It would be interesting to see how they would make a PC that can only communicate with people who read sign.
