Paragon 100% for me. Renegade is WAY too hardcore from BioWare. I feel bad after using a Renegade option

Renegade = Douchebag
Renegade = Douchebag

I mostly use paragon because it's about a billion times more reasonable. Notice how there are basically no bad consequences for doing the more ethical thing in every circumstance.

I'd like to walk a middle path myself but I always end up going full Paragon or Renegade because if I don't then people die.
Stupid morality system.

100% renegade. No time to play nice when the future of the human race is at stake.

My infiltrator is neutral, he kept almost perfectly even on both side in both games. I've got a few others that fall closer to Paragon and Renegade, but I don't have any 'pure' morality characters.

Most of the major decisions end up paragon, but in the end I somehow always end up with both bars almost full but a bit more paragon. Generally I use renegade for people I don't like and paragon for people I do.

I tend to play my main Shepard organically. I choose the options that seem appropriate given the context of the situation. It just so happens most of the Renegade decisions seem quite reasonable to me. I mean, obviously things like giving Anoleis the evidence against him are just being a jerk for no real reason, but generally I end up taking the Renegade path and finding it more than justifiable.

I'm about 90-99% Paragon. Every once in a while, I go for a Renegade dialogue option (but when it comes to a major choice, I never choose Renegade), and sometimes I use the Renegade interrupts if fighting someone is inevitable, but if I know there's a peaceful option later on, I'll ignore it.

I was able to do this in ME1 and Shepherd sounded much more reasonable (not a jerk or a hero just the guy that gets the job done). I tired it in ME2 and was forced to take sides in a few character arguments (Miranda vs. Jack etc.) because my paragon or renegade was not high enough from constantly taking the middle option.
Some things they consider renegade are senseless for example. If you take Legion with you on Tali's quest the renegade response is critical of the captain for not being tolerant (Tali is referred to as "that thing" for comparison) this is not unreasonable but you still get renegade points for it.

ThisIsMadness91 - Yeah that's normally what I do. Like the Miranda loyalty mission... When you have the renegade option to drop the crate or some ****. I only did it because I was lazy and didn't feel like fighting... Haha just kidding but yeah that's what I did(:

I don't know about ME2 as I've only played renegade (although paragon toward non-combatants), but paragon was so freakin lame in ME1. I used to play nothing but paragon, but after playing renegade it's hard to play paragon now. It's like there was no effort put into it.... ugh, so bland.

So true. But ME2 is WAY different. It's either a total badass move... or a sensitive, but not stupid, angelic decision.

I'm a Paragade.
Usually end up 100% Paragon and 1/3-1/2 Renegade. ^^

I choose paragon options, but because of the way the system is set up, I always get a few renegade points at certain spots (Grunt's Loyalty Mission, After the Collector Ship, etc.). They add up over time, and it kinda annoys me.

Was mostly Paragon in first game but have changed over to Renegade in the second. Some of the Renegade actions were simply hilarious!

I'm 99% Paragon. I sometimes I'll take the renegade path if it kills my enemies quicker, or if it leads to more interesting plot developments.

I have two playthroughs where I go full paragon and full renegade, and then one where I do what I'd do in real life or do whatever makes me lulz.

I'm usually a 100% paragon but in ME2 there were a few renegade choices I had to make for some interupts...

Neither. Paragade and Renegon make for more interesting PCs to roleplay. My Paragade MaleShep preached mercy and justice to his squadmates (Garrus and Saleon or Sidonis) but shot Finch in the face for bringing up his gang past. Hyp-o-crite.

I played ME1 first as a balance, then a Renegade, then a Paragon. I'm finding myself hitting the Paragon and Renegade options buttons when they flash up in ME2 almost automatically. Right now my first character is almost perfectly balanced. My second character is going totally renegade. Of course you will sometimes feel bad or guilty for choosing the renegade option. This is an RPG, folks. You're not the one being the douchebag renegade, your character is. It's always fun in an alignment-based RPG to play through on both sides, depending of course what options you want to pursue, especially with romances.

I really felt like I had a lot more freedom to choose between Paragon and Renegade dialog options for ME2. Having the illusive man as my "boss" really kinda gave me the go-ahead to choose whatever direction I decided I wanted to choose.
When the council, or a very people centric government organization are your benefactors it's hard to justify screwing people over along the way.
I played through the game and made each decision exactly how I would have made it were I in the situation. Probably 80% of the time that ended up being a Paragon action, but there were appropriate circumstances for the Renegade option as well, like Garrus' whole deal with Harkin.
Further, I really like the direction that these moral choices are going - Paragon actions have the potential to be SUPER "boy-scouty" and over the top, and Renegade actions seem to be a lot more reasonable sounding than they were in ME1.
Also, LOVE the intervention mechanic in the cut scenes!
