So I just finished an unprepared lazy Shepard playthrough. After tinkering a bit with who gets sent where in the suicide mission, it appears that with Miranda at least, if she's the only survivor she won't pull you up at the end sequence. I'm guessing this has something to do with the 2 NPC requirement on away missions, but does that apply to the rest of the party?

I've heard people who were able to save only Grunt or Thane and they ended up dying as well. Either the game will kill you off or it will force another squadmate to live to get the 2 squadmate requirement.

I wonder what would happen if Zaeed survives as well but then his DLC gets shut off.

That's an interesting idea.

Is it possible to disable DLC in this game once you've loaded it?

DLC downloads, pre-order rewards, and Collectors Edition add-ins are disabled after 24 hours with your computer offline.

That means you cannot load any saved game that has any of these things in it.

This is a poor decision on the part of Bioware and Electronic Arts. Having paid extra for pre-order and Collectors Edition content, and then having it disabled because of an internet outage or loss of the internet, is not acceptable.

I have the download version of the game. So if your preorder and collectors edition rewards work despite not having internet access, it's probably because you have a physical CD.
