I've now finished it 6 times and am just about to start my first Insanity run. But I've never carried on playing the game after completion so I was wondering if there was any reason to do just that? For instance can I romance characters or get new dialogue options if I carry on playing? Thanks in advance for the help.

You can romance other characters, but you won't get the scene before the suicide mission. You will be able to invite your love interest to Shepard's cabin by using the intercom next to his personal computer.
