This is just a theory of mine...I think Aria and Aleena (Wrex's commando friend/rival) are the same person! There are some clues from Aria which help confirm this theory.

• Aria says she has had commando training
• Aria reveals almost nothing about her past
• Aria is probably around the same age as Wrex since both species live up to 1000 yrs or more
• Aria says that the Patriarch is not the first Krogon shes ever pissed off

I think all these point to a connection between Aria and Wrex...maybe some big reveal for ME3??? Because there is definitely more to Arias character then what you learn in ME2.

She probably is. Though I'm surprised that the fight against Patriarch was the toughest of her life if she's the commando who faced Wrex, and she's nothing like the "softy" who didn't want to ever hurt innocents that Wrex described.

You forgot the most important part, at the end of Wrex's story he says Aleena messaged him with

"Better luck next time." When you end the conversation about her past she says "Better luck next time."



So yes, it definatly is Aleena, and I think she mentions changing her name.

Yes, it has been semi-confirmed in several threads already. Don't forget her famous "Better luck next time" line and when she said sometimes it's better to go away than having to kill a friend.

It's not about the phase itself, but the context in which it is spoken. She said the phase right when you question about her past, with a close up emphasize on her face.

Indeed. The mom of Morinth's victim gets to contact Shep because of Aria. A simple ruthless crimelord doesn't do thing like that.

If she isn't, it's only because the devs are getting a laugh out of throwing a ridiculous amount of clues that she is Aleena when really they decided that she isn't.



So basically, unless it's a cruel, cruel joke, Aria is Aleena.

So? Half the time you talk to her the camera is right in her face, that means nothing.
You can think what you want to think about it, but it's definitely not any sort of proof of anything.

It's a nice thought, but there's nothing even close to conclusive.

Then it's a matter of opinion. To me, that is a very strong indication, especially when that discussion on her past really does not need to be concluded with "better luck next time".
