Caen? The french city liberated by the British during World War II? What does that have to do with any of this?

I've been doing a playthrough disabling heavy weapons and sniper rifles from being equipped (it makes my back look so PRETTIE!) while *also* using an Avenger.

Honestly, the fight just takes awhile. It's like killing a Cyberdemon in Doom with a pistol (a reference I've also used already today, but I really can't think of anything else!): it's not terribly difficult, just requires a big chunk of time.

It's also pretty annoying. It's damn irritating when he resets his barrier before it goes off, or when you resets it WHEN HE HAS 1 HP LEFT! BLARGH!!

And a sidenote: it's good to hear you complaining about this rather than the columns fight ; P if you can handle *that*, you're ready for anything!

Yah... that's pretty much what i've been doing all along...

Thanks anyway guys... I guess I'm just not as good at this game as everyone else! :-(

Okay well it's actually pretty easy. Hang back at the first part send you're party forward to shoot him before he gets there. And just hammer him from back there as hes moving forward just hide behind the cover and move around it to avoid him.

Really isn't that difficult..

I'm not trying to make myself sound amazing either but seriously, it isn't even the hardest part of the collector ship. Just take down the husks and collectors as they come then run up and down the ramp in a circle till you eventually wear it down. All it takes is a little bit of patience. I really think Praetorians have been over rated as enemies, in my opinion the hardest enemy you'll come across in the game is large groups of husks.

I killed all the husks and collectors first, then put my squaddies in the pit below the ramp next to the power cells, and ran circles around the ramp. I died twice :(

I had to revive my team a couple times and distract with the combat drone a lot, but I let the praetorian have that ridge and just moved along below with it trying to get to me while my squad wore it down.

I never had trouble with this, even on Insanity, with both Soldier and Engineer. Husks were annoying, but I don't think I ended up dying. I just kept pounding it with bullets and powers after killing the husks. Also cycled around the ramps so it couldn't hit me.

The moving platforms were quite annoying though, kept getting swarmed there.

Oh, I realised now...

You were talking about the Praetorian... That wasn't so bad at all.

But those walking-flying platforms and ****LOADS of Harbingers and those 2 Scions... GEEZUS!

fixed

Anyway take someone with Warp, if you aren't Soldier class and have Kasumi DLC and done her loyalty use Locus for yourself, if you have Incendiary ammo use it, kill all husks and Collectors as fast as possible from where you start and circle around those "stairs" and cover below.
That tactic never failed me.

Questions about how to kick the Praetorian's ass should go to the strategy forum now anyway.
