I am done with Therum, Feros and Noveria. I only have Virmire and Ilos
left. I spoke with Ash right after Noveria and had the "anti-aliens"
conversation. Is it too late for the romance, or can I still accomplish
it?

well im having this same problem. I think its because i told Ashley something that she didn't like and it changed everything for me. To tell you this each person you have to watch what you say to them. I played this several times already and this is the first time Ashley neva tried to hit on me after i told her what i did when i got Liara. So its going to be hard to tell but, ill see what i can do.

If you want to quickly check whether a romance is 'active' or not - simply go to flux at the citadel and try to dance with your preferred romance partner. You need to be standing on the dancefloor, and select Ash twice in a row.



If she dances with you, the romance is active. If she doesn't, then there's no romance.

I've heard it's possible to end the romance just by selecting the wrong Paragon response at the wrong time.  (Specifically if she asks you to join her for a drink to celebrate something, and you tell her 'I don't drink'.  KIND of rude, isn't it?  Apparently she doesn't go for Straight Edge guys.)
But really, after Feros (if you do it the Pick-up-Liara, Noveria, Feros, Virmire route) if you've been siginificantly polite to LiLi you're likely to get the her-or-me convo if it's an active romance.

Sounds like you are on track. If you think you are missing a conversation you can have one after Virmire but before going back to the citadel if you go to see her before touching the galactic map.

Ok at Flux Ashley did dance with me. So is this confirmed that the romance is active, and I can get the romance scene to occur?

If she danced with you, then yes - the romance should be active.



If she's also calling you 'skipper' after the end of your talks, that's also a positive sign that the romance is on track.
