Tali and Miranda (in that order) are the only ones I like. Kelly doesn't really count, Jack looks like this guy I knew in the fifth grade who I loathed, Ashley is a bible thumping poetry spewing racist, and Liara is about as interesting as a brick.



No experience with the male LIs.

I've only watched Jacob, it'll never happen. Suffered once through Liara, I'd sooner have a million Jacobs and a hanar before doing that again.

I've done mostof all of them, I'll rank them all 1 to 11 with short explanations:

1. Tali- Can you say fan-service, or what? Her awkwardness is adorable, and the way she pounces Shepard is evidence to how much she wanted the guy.

2. Jack- Probably the most moving of all LI's, especially the Paragon route.

3. Ashley- She arguably had the best development UP to the relationship. Cute flirtations, references to Whitman; would have been a home-run if loving Shep made her more open-minded to aliens.

4. Thane- The strongest female LI...and that's not saying much. Graphical tears was a nice touch, but overall female LIs get gypped.

5. Miranda- Flirtatious romance that sort of feels like just a fling, but it strangely, somehow works. Very different from all other romances.

6. Garrus- Cute, and really delved into a whole 'nother layer of a beloved character...I'm shocked he wasn't doing calibrations during the date.

7. Liara- Liara's a character whose potential was really limited by her connections to her race. Everything seemed to be about the Asari way, and "embracing eternity" with her was no different.

8. Jacob- Romancing the man lets you see his true character, but it shouldn't have to come to this! Was hoping to see this side of Jacob regardless of trying to pursue something.

9. Samara- Okay, it wasn't TECHNICALLY a romance, but it edges out some LI's in that it's a tragic romance that Samara cannot requite, despite her wishes. Makes you wonder if "her code" is really the only reason why she can't (I say it's because she herself is an Ardat Yakshi)

10. Kaidan- A cardboard character who I was really hoping would be enriched because of the romance. Instead, he continues to whine about his past; his romance feels very generic.

11. Kelly- She shouldn't even count. But her little get-up for dancing's pretty nice.

Kaidan, always! He really seems to care about femshep, and he's clearly comprised of the hottest man-pixels in the game.



My femshep is looking for love and not a quick hook up, so it'd never work out with the rest, because Garrus is my buddy, Thane is too weird looking for my tastes, and Jacob bores me, I hate the way femshep sounds when she's talking to him, plus the "prize" line is lame beyond belief.



If I had to pick from male NPCs currently unavailable as LIs, I'd pick Ken and Joker for non-squadmate talky romances.



For my dudeshep, hmm...Tali, I guess. Haven't tried the others.
