The story takes place about one year after the siege of the Citadel in Mass Effect. A quarian exile is trapped in a desparate attempt to escape Omega. A quarian on Pilgrimage stole from the Blue Suns, and the exile is dragged into a band of smugglers that are trying to get the quarian to safety.

Note: Yes, the main character is a red sand addict. I read ME:Ascension recently.

Updates:
March 2, 2010: First version of Exile finished. Revised version pending. (I'm going back to Shepard for a bit.) If anyone wants more stories about Kal and the other characters, comment here. I have no current plans for Kal, but I'm not going to throw away any of my characters.

March 10, 2010: Revised edition of Exile finished. Drafting plans for a new Kal adventure. Shepard will go on the back burner while I write myself out of a corner. Trivial Fact: Exile is over 10,000 words. Feel the weight.

First of all, sorry for the delay. Been busy with school and such. Anyways, it's a good read and I noticed that your writing has improved throughout the chapters. I also enjoy the unique story and setting as it is nice to see someone write something other than the typical Shepard x Tali fanfics. I am in the process of writing a story based on my Shepard's experience with the Skyllian Blitz. Should have the first chapter up tonight.
