Do you think all squad members that dident die in mass 1 or 2 should be in mass 3 since its the last of the mass effects

Yes. If Miranda, Garrus, Tali, and Thane aren't in Mass Effect 3, I'm going to do something drastic.

Yeah it's pretty obvious that they will at least make an appearance if they lived.

I want them all in my squad where reasonable. If they're all reduced to cameos I wouldn't be interested much in ME3.

Any survivors from the first 2 games should be in ME3 and recruitable. If the Reapers are a threat to all life in the galaxy, why wouldn't they join up with you? Liara....is tracking the Shadow Broker really going to matter when the Reapers are killing EVERYONE? Wrex...is Tuchanka really going to be worth saving when a dozen Reapers surround the planet?
I hope we do not have squad members forced on us and we can truly build our own squad. Make every character in ME 1 & 2 recruitable...but give them the option to turn you down based on decisions you made. Take Ash/Kaidan for example...if you stayed loyal to them, destroyed Collector base, and told TIM to go screw himself then you prove you were not working FOR Cerberus...but using them. Ash/Kaidan join your crew. If you cooperated with TIM....they walk and refuse to join.
Also, introduce new characters for ME3 by having Shephard learn about them through talking with people. This would allow us to hear about someone, then we would have to go talk to other people who may know this character....the more we learn, we decide if we want to go find them and recruit them. This could even be done with expansion packs. Allow us to talk with more people and allow us to learn some new names and a little bit about the new characters for ME3. Or maybe give us an expansion pack with more missions and on these missions we hear about, or even meet, potential squad members in ME3. That way when ME3 does come out, we already have a sense of the new characters and jump right into the epic fight to save the galaxy.
No loyalty missions in ME3. I enjoyed them in ME2 but let's face it, if the fate of every living being in the galaxy is at stake in ME3, will going back to the research facility you escaped from just to blow it up really be worth it?

I want them to be but whether or not they will actually be back I'm not sure.. I am fairly certain that all the love interests will be back in one way or another.. Kaidan/Ashley will most definitely return.. I don't know about Wrex though.. But hopefully they do.. Only time will tell.

This.
I wants me some (actually WAY more than some) Tali'Zorah and Legion in ME 3. I want all squaddies to make a non-cameo return, but the afore-mentioned are my top 2 favorite characters from the series

im all for bigbody's idea of some not joining you because of your decisions.
samara for example should die in an epic attempt to kill renegade shepard as her code demands; tali hates you if handed over the evidence, etc.
but all in all; ME3 needs to bring bask all our old squaddies for recruitment, no excuses. what is the damn point of focusing on the characters of ME2 and sidelining the originals if theyre just gonna be cameos again? doing that would seriously be a deal breaker for me.

All surviving ME2 character's will have 5 minute cameo's, the ME1 LI will make their epic return in a 5 minute cameo, and we will get a whole new squad.

Shepard has already recruited the best in the galaxy; a few talented individuals isn't going to do much against an army of 100-1000 reapers.

if they didn't die they should be back as full squad mates and if they did die they should just be replaced with random redshirts. NO NEW SQUAD MEMBERS IN ME3!!!!!

i am in on this its important to me as a player, we have been through hell and back together and as such they should not be reduced to cameos in ME3.
Also this is the first time i have seen a thread like this your good OP

Since I literally spent the entire ME2 recruiting and putting this team together, and since ME2 did such a good job at making me attached to almost all of them, I'd be disappointed to find out they'd all gone their separate ways AGAIN.
I guess the same can be said about Wrex, Liara and Ash/Kaiden. Bioware went out of their way to make sure they survive ME2, and I'm hoping it's because they will return for bigger things in ME3.

I can understand if Mordin and Thane didnt return because of health/age problems. Mayybe Legion and Grunt.
Other then that, all the rest better stay.
