I hope this isn't considered a spoiler thread, but I wanted to know what your favorite Mass Effect 2 moment was so far.   A lot of us haven't beaten the game, but I don't think it would hurt anyone's enjoyment to pursue this topic, so here we go:

My favorite moment so far was Mordin Solis' musical number.  I laughed so hard when I saw that I was in tears.  I can't imagine how long it took them to write the lyrics and design the scene without spending a good deal of time having laughing fits.  Absolutely classic.

Mine was probably only a few moments ago actually. I passed by the Game Merchant on the Citadel talking with two other people at his kiosk about "Galaxy of Fantasies" I believe it was when the Merchant mentioned that the game had an eleven billion player subscriber base. Boy, I wonder what game that was alluding to.



Also, headshots on Mechs w/ my sniper rifle is fun too.

The bit involving the drugged volus was pretty darn entertaining. Couldn't resist sending that fellow into the next room to get killed. >>

My three favorite moments would have to be...



The Paragon dialogue with the Admiralty Board after going to the Alerai during Tali's loyalty mission and the following talk with Tali.Very heartfelt.



Zaeed's loyalty mission where you go Renegade and don't save the refinery, when he tosses his overheated thermal clip at the oil like a cigarette had me rolling.



During my first suicide mission when I didn't know the rules. I accepted Jacob for tech because he volunteered, watching him try to get the door closed and die because of it. I chose Miranda for the shield and lost Legion to swarms (still trying to figure out their toxin on a non-organic, maybe they just stung him till he 'leaked' out?). Listening to Joker say Zaeed died giving the crew members time to get to the ship (I went to his mission rather early and didn't have the necessary Paragon to get him loyal and save the refinery). And watching the camera pan over Jack dead after the 'Hold the Line" bit as I didn't have high enough Paragon to make both Miranda and Jack loyal after their conflict, took Miranda as the lesser of two evils.



Feeling the consequences as my choices affecting my squad knowing I could of done it differently. I didn't reload because it was that feel I was trying for, I never once went back on a decision that play through and did choose a few Renegade dialogue options when the Paragon didn't suit me.



I couldn't choose between those three because each is a favorite for different reasons.

My favourite moment is a tie between Mordin singing and Joker plugging in the Overlord.

Mordin singing and EDI's joke are very, very close, but it's got to be giving the paragon spiel at Tali's trial.

Dude this had ma laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair. I thried to make my mainShep look like a caveman but bald, so it was awesome. Honestly I wanted to see him headbutt some one all through ME1. It was one of those moments I felt BioWare put in just for me. I know it wasn't but still, BioWare is good at doing that.

Harbanger is an @-hole at the end of the game on Insanity. I'm haveing a hard time with my Soldier. As soon as you kill him he finds the weakest collecter and bosts him up tomax power.

That was so epic.

Mordin having an awkward chat with my male shep about how a romance between them would not work and how he tries to let Shepard down easy.

You know, I almost wish I didn't do everything right somehow that first time. Not kidding. The only questionable thing I did was wait really long after the Normandy was attacked (trying to be non-spoilerish here), but I had only done a few loyalty missions at that point and I decided it would have spoiled to game if I didn't wait and miss out on those.

My favourite moment(s):

Going through the Omega 4 relay because of the music.

Tali's trial because all those points I put in persuasion skills in ME1 finally get a satisfying pay-off.

Jack's loyalty mission because of sheer atmosphere.

Miranda's loyalty mission because of, well, Miranda...

Garrus' recruitment mission because it's simply fun.

Shooting the Cain for the first time because of the shock.

Watching Grunt do his hand pounding thingy because it's, dare I say it, almost cute.

Discovering the Vindicator Battle Rifle because it's so much smoother than the Revenant

Joker and Edi because there are so many moments...

Mordin singing because... Do I really need to explain this one?

Seeing that shot from outside the galaxy at the end of the game because it's cool.

I know I was only supposed to name one moment, but I'm trying to make a point here..

- in the final mission the dialogue between the illusive man and Miranda if you refuse the illusive man's orders

- the scene between Jack and Miranda after jack's mission....the sentences of Joker are very funny

- all the scenes of final mission, they are so epic

- but the best is....
