Actually, I think the Drell and Turians look cool as hell. If I could play as any race from the ME universe, I'd have a hard time deciding between Drell or Turian :D

Turians look pretty badass in my opinion. Here's something that's occurred to me though... We still have never seen Turian females, or Krogan, or Salarian, or come across Elcor, or Volus females at all. Just human women, and the unisex Asari... Galaxy's seeming a bit one-sided.

Oh, I think turians look cool, but I don't really see how they could be considered sexually attractive. Now, people attracted to Garrus because of his personality, that I can understand.

Yeah… I seriously doubt Bioware is going to ****** off a large percentage of their fanbase by making an LI ugly.

I dunno, bioware may use it as an experiment to find out if ppl really do "like" Tali, regardless of looks, or if the sole reason they like her, is because each person can make her look exactly as they want.

Just like the whole make everyone cheat on the ME1 LI experiment.

yeah if you have ever worn a cast or ever had any part of your skin confined to a sealed environment you will know that your skin gets extremely gross and clamly and pale.

if anything, quarians are probably the ugliest species in the galaxy, their bodies have definitely undergone evolution in 300 years. their skin pigmentation is probably completely gone, meaning you can see through their pale, opage flesh. they probably do not have hair as this thread implies, no eyebrows or eyelashes etc.

in general, they would probably be extremely gross. but you can deny all that by saying 'no quarian physiology is not like humans and their exosuits preserve them" yada yada.

I'd have greater respect for the quarian people (and Bioware more so) if they looked like that.
Plus it'd weed out the true Tali fans from the "just want to bang intergalactic babes" crowd.

With all the vicious RAGE being thrown at Bioware for that particular experiment, revealing the quarians as squid-faces would cause more than a few to go nuts entirely. There's a line between fishing the community for clues as to consumer habits, and poking a wasp nest with a stick.

Garrus was clearly not meant to be romanceable when they first designed him and the Turians. Adding his romance into ME2 was a "Sure, why not" by the devs, after they realised how many girls consider him a sexy beast. With Tali it's a bit of both, since she was originally considered for LI status in ME1. Thus they made the Quarians pretty humanoid and physically attractive.

i dont understand how you look at her face and leaked clay models of her face under her helmet and presume she will be something like an offspring of dr zoidberg, you expect far to much for her to be ugly, but we are just a month after the release of mass effect 2, we still have a couple of years before we get thier, its too soon to speculate

Quariens are mammals... So no zoidberg bug fish etc thing will go on with them.

I wish they'd look like hairless pale space human-monkey hybrid in space suit. their eyes are glowing!

Read in Ascension its said Quarian only took their envirosuit off in the shower area in the floatilla, Kinda made me wonder that how clean the shower area? is it super clean so Quarian can takes off their suit.

The book Mass Effect Ascension is pretty vague on how the Quarians looks as the one that was naked had been tortured horribly for a long time and was not represenative of a quarians true appearance and it was more specific about his injuries than his body.

Personaly I still believe Quarains are closer to birds than humans but thats just me.

Honestly, the tali drawings are realy awesome and all guys, but dont start actin like shes gonna look like an elf and guessing what her hair color should look like, and then you tell me to shut up and i wouldnt know
well your right i dont know, but after reading acsension and finding a naked quarian being tortured, i got a real good idea that they sure as hell dont look like legolas

Thank god, someone sane. I've been telling these guys and "so called" artists with Tali drawings that Quarians don't have visible ears and they should read Ascension and some ME Quarian Codex's to know what Quarians look like, but they just won't listen. They rather fantasies about Tali having the perfect elven face.

I really wanna see Tali's face, but I fear if BioWare does, lots of people woun't like how she might look. I'll love Tali either way, I fell in love with her personality (Shy, innocent, emotional, smart), it feels as if she's the only person who actually deserves to have Shepard.

Keep in mind that Batarians are also described differently in the books, and they changed how they look for BDtS (even changed their picture in the Codex). So until we see a quarian in-game, all bets are off.

I kind of figured they did have hair or something similar to it (like the Asari) because if they didn't, why wouldn't they have form fitting helmets? They have like a loose hood, makes sense that there is hair or something there?

Ok so no hair and no ears, a picture is starting to form in my head now.

I'm thinking they kind of look like an egg with a nose, and glowing asian eyes.

I'm pretty sure that hood is purely decorative, with the actual helmet being more form fitting than you can see. It must also cover up the tubes that connect to the rest of the suit, like the ones visible on the male helmets.

The only people who actually knows what Quarians look like are the Devs... BioWare, enlighten us! :o

You mean this?

Hmm, no visible ears, no hair (more skinlike, similar to Asari), tougher than Human skin but not as tough as Turian plates (and nice hips too Image IPB). I wouldn't mind if Tali looked like this.

I'm quite sure Grunt said that. Maybe they both did.

Yeah, it's Sil, but look again, I just reuploaded the picture. I removed the ugly pink spike that was comming out of the back of her head and replaced the snake eyes with a more glowing eyes. She now looks even more like a Quarian. Image IPB

EDIT: Edited the picture again, this time removing the evil spikes from her arms and shoulders.
