yeah if you have ever worn a cast or ever had any part of your skin confined to a sealed environment you will know that your skin gets extremely gross and clamly and pale.
if anything, quarians are probably the ugliest species in the galaxy, their bodies have definitely undergone evolution in 300 years. their skin pigmentation is probably completely gone, meaning you can see through their pale, opage flesh. they probably do not have hair as this thread implies, no eyebrows or eyelashes etc.
in general, they would probably be extremely gross. but you can deny all that by saying 'no quarian physiology is not like humans and their exosuits preserve them" yada yada.
as far as skin pigmentation, you are down right wrong. With white people lack of sun is more easily noticeable, your skin color when getting no sun is your base pigmentation, it wont get any "whiter" than that. i.e. when you are born. If black people living in bio-suits for 300 years when they came out they would still be black people, they wouldnt all be white. its in their DNA, whether they stay in the dark their whole life or roast in the sun, they will still be brown.
Dark skin is more resistant to UV rays, i.e. convieniently many ethnic groups that originate in hot sunny areas have dark pigmentation, because as a whole those with dark pigmentation out competed/survived those that didnt, until the entire ethnic population had dark skin.
it wasnt some decision made on a cellular level, the skin pigment was an ACCIDENT an abnormal mutation, it didnt happen because of the hot sunny environment, it happened to be a benefit in the hot sunny environment.
on the flip side caucasian skin is more resistant to cold/frostbite guess what? most lighter complexion ethnicies lived in typically colder conditions. same rules apply, it was a genetic accident that happened to work out.
i.e. if a a family of white people lived in egypt for 300 years, their babies wouldnt come out looking like they got a spray tan on the set of jersey shore. Liekwise if a black family lived in sweden for 300 years their kids wouldnt come out looking like powder (unless either or mixed genes with members not of their ethnicity)
so unless a random genetic mutation occured that turned the skin of some of the africans in the space suits white, and they happened to outcompete the ones that were dark, in as small a time as 300 years, then they would be pale. but considering their pigmentation wouldnt matter inside the suits, It is extremely highly unlikely especially a modern society. Even in modern time, people with disabilities or genetic mutations, they would have been a death sentence in previous times, can survive now, due to technology and cooperation.
as pertains to immune systems.
i.e. if you kept a human in a sterile environment from birth for 30 years, they would get all jacked up when they came out too. This is why you frequently get sick as a child, and less so as you get older, immunity is dynamic, and isnt "evolution" i.e. any cold/flu/etc you got as a child and became immune to, those immunities are not passed on to your children. just like getting chicken pox, my parents got it, theirs before them, etc etc.
Natural immunity occurs, when again, via genetic accident happen to be immune to a specific disease while it kills off everyone else. With humans this is noticeable since frequently in our history we were in isolated groups, and some people from certain regions have immunity to things other ethnicities dont. Like studies they are doing now, that people who are naturally immune to boobonic plague seem to be immune to the aids virus (in preliminary studies), those natural immunities can be passed on and DONT GO AWAY, if breeding is kept with in a similar gene pool where it is a dominant trait.
Quarians, have a naturally weak immune system. Bioware, just showed lack of understanding, when explaining why they want their home world back. raising a quarian baby on a colony planet should be no different now than rasiing a quarian baby on a colony planet 300 years ago. While exposure to adult quarians would suck just like it would for a human that spent their life in a sterile environment their immune system isnt any worse than it was 300 years ago, they just dont spend time growing up and gaining immunity to random bacteria/virus etc.
In all seriousness, you should always wear a sealed suit when visitng any plent even if habitable, who knows what kind of wierd ass alien ebola virus might be floating out there.
