Recently I just finished a playthrough where I had no ones loyalty and no upgrades. The suicide mission was a total massace and I loved it. Even though I knew that the whole squad would die, it was stil emotional to see them die one by one. Heres my top five emotional death scenes.

5. Jacob - I sent him back with the crew and I may not have seen him die but hearing that he sacrificed himself to save the crew makes me wish I atleast gave him a salute back once.
4. Tali - Her death scene was quick, she died on the Normandy when Joker tried to lose the Octulus' in the debry field and the shields weren't strong enough. Her actual death isn't why I put her at 4 but the way EDI says "Unfortunetly Tali didn't make it" and the look on Jokers face which I think deserves a sad face . Also its Tali!
3. Grunt - I have no idea why but rolling over Grunt's body after killing the Human Reaper and seeing him dead just made me go "dam" in my head in a sad voice. Not even a pure Krogan could survive that fall.
2. Samara - Her death scene was quick and there wasn't even any dialogue but just seeing her die in Shepards arms yanked on the heart strings a bit. Also her dieing meant that Shepard was now all alone so that added some sad face to her death.
1. Shepard - What really made this the number 1 death was that it was Shepard. Joker was there just trying to pull Shepard up but unable to cause of the Collector's constant fire.That sad music and Joker yelling out "Shepard" as he let go and fell to his death really made all the differance by making it stand out as the clear number one death scene.

I find Jack's death scene as fire team 2 leader very well done. She tells you something along the lines of "How the hell did you talk me into this. I wasn't supposed to care." then RIP.

Take a character to take out the terminator without full loyalty, they will die under debris as you try to get out. That scene really bugs me. If you made sure to do their loyalty mission beforehand, well boy, sheer strength of will is enough to keep those people alive! But if not, well forget about survival. They don't care enough about you to even go on living. ¬_¬

My perfect suicide mission death toll:



1. Tali burning in the Normandy's engine compartment was a true quarian death.



2. Thane at door #1. The Assasin got to know what a headshot feels like.



3. Jack got dragged away into the Pitch Black, where she belonged. Her life sucked all along anyway. No miracles.



4. Mordin at door #2. "Shepard... tell them... I held the line..." [Salarian Medal of Honor. Posthumous.]
