System specs: AMD quad core, nvidia 9600gt, 700gb HD, 8gb RAM windows Vista 64
problem: Second time posting about this with no help... Whenever I launch the suicide mission the game will always crash on the loading screen. so far i've finally got it to let me watch the cutscene going through the Omega 4 Relay but the screen after that crashes. Already tried validating my steam game files... anything else I should try?

I suggest Stardock's Impulse
Good lord, dont use Impulse. They butchered my Dragon Age release day, screwed up the installer so it wouldnt update and people couldnt get DLC, gave me the wrong game version (though I paid for Digi Deluxe), gave out the wrong serial numbers to people ...it was a nightmare. Plus, they dont do pre loading. Never again. Bunch of amateurs over there.
For Bioware games, I wouldnt advise digital download versions at all. You have to deal with the EA drm then, which is just another layer of opportunity for things to go wrong. Got the retail box this time for ME2, with a simple disk check, and everything has been great, until the patch, ironically, which has made my game buggier.

If it's loud as in fan noise, it's possible it's an overheating issue. You could try running through that point with the PC's case off.Tylantt wrote...
Question: would this be a hardware issue? because I just noticed during the loading screen that crashes, my computer gets extremely loud. then anything I play after I.E Modern Warfare 2 is really hiccupy.
