Indeed. I came for the lulz. I was sadly disappointed.

Well, I gotta agree partly with the OP. 99% of the time the enemies will rush at you, especially on the harder levels. Mix this with teammates who do the same, except they just die really fast....and you've got a recipe for disaster.

Sure its better(I guess) that they do this than just stand around...but come on, maybe actually get them to flank instead of head long rushing right at us.

You know this was a waste of time. All you people did was assume I sucked at the game, and insulted me. I beat the game already on insanity. So I know what im talking about.

You people cant even admit there is something wrong with the team AI. I DO infact tell my teammates where to park their asses. But for some reason they just do whatever they want anyway. Not only that I use SMG and power pistol and explosive sentries. It's kind of silly when a Krongan survives 3 rounds of the heavy Terminus weapon.

You cant even admit there's something wrong with the cover system/ no crouch to help against being sacked.

All I really wanted to discuss was new ways for punishing foolish enemies that rushed you. But whatever, I see where this community has their priorities.(romance above all else)

This wouldnt have been such a problem if not for the team AI sometimes..

One more thing screw you all. I care nothing for any of you.

There are plenty of skills to stop people in their tracks... warp will halt the krogan for a second or two while decimating their armor... where as reave and neural shock with freeze them from three to five seconds and offer other penalties. Concussion shot stuns protected enemies and knocks back unprotected enemies... plus you can press up on the d-pad and have your squad focus on the heavy enemy.

Me... I normally destroy the krogan armor and then use either neural shock or concussion shot and finish them while their down. I don't have much problem and I'm playing on insanity. Now the heavy mechs? I normally spend several minutes running around and hiding behind stuff while I whittle down the protective shields and armor. Once that's gone though... hahahaha! it's fairly simple. Surviving is the key and you havet to be able to maneuver the battlefield better than the AI.

Also why does Garrus walk around like he some sort of Krogan?? He constantly leaves cover to fire fight in the open. How stupid is that?

Barrier is the only power that makes sense to have resistance to Throw, as you're using biotics to displace biotics

Even shields I could understand.  But armor should NOT effect Throw... Throw would be great as a defensive manuver if only they allowed it to be.

Shields/Barrier -> Force * 0 = no effect
Armor -> Force * CurrentArmor/ArmorThreshhold = diminished effect once you get the armor low enough (lightly armored things would be affected immediately.  Really HEAVILY armored things might take a little work first.)

Cool story, bro.  But just because you're having trouble with the enemies doesn't mean its a universal condition.  I've also beat Insanity, I died to gunfire due to stupid mistakes and bad gambles rather then charging Krogan(I think one got me during Archangel's mission and I took serious damage multiple times during Mordin's Loaylty mission).

I've never had a problem - when I tell them to stay put, they stay put.  Although I do have to reissue commands if they get blown away from the their cover.  I've heard others complain about it though - sounds like a bug, actually.  That is an team AI problem.  It doesn't have a direct connection to the enemies charging you like they are supposed to.

Does a Krogan really survive that many shots?  Never used heavy weapons on them, Mordin's Incinerate and Miranda's Warp destroys their armor(which stuns them for a monment) and my Incinerate burns them down and stops regen, giving me time to throw some more their way.  Like I said, Krogan are priority targets, along with anything else that rushes you.

Recon64bit wrote...

Crouch doesn't help - if your outside of cover, they are still going to hit you, and if your behind cover its the same thing.  Not saying I don't want it back, but it's not going to change the way things work.
Never had a problem with the cover system either.  Works a little too well, I'm pretty much untouchable behind cover unless they move directly around the edge of my cover.  Cover isn't going to stop a chargeing Krogan.  That is a job for firepower and retreat.

More then willing to.  What kind of powers?  I've mentioned Flashbangs as a new soldier power in ME3 in another thread.  The prox mines sound fun, some High Explosive Grenades that knock people down/over(like shooting an explosive contanier).  Wouldn't expect much new for ME2, although I'm sure not against it.
Edit: If you wanted to talk about this, you could have made it more clear.  Your OP comes off as a whine thread.  No offense intended.

considering theyre the only enemies that make a fight dangerous, keep em. without those agressive buggers, whats to stop me from sitting behind cover spamming incinerate until everything is dead?

In response to the original post...

A Krogan walking up to you SHOULD mean a mess of danger. Party members will even warn you that a Krogan is incoming. Koragns are meant to be feared. Usually if there's a Krogan coming at me, he's who I fire at first. But Sheppard and his crew have what it takes to take care of them - whether it's bionics, incenerary shots, frost shots, etc - a Krogan approaching you to flank you should technically never be able to get that close to you.

If they have got that close to you - you probably do deserve to die. Take them out first. They're hardened warriors. That's how they should come across in game as well. If a Krogran died easily, then I'd lose the believability of the game saying that they're a huge threat, and that's why Genophage happened.

Something needs to be done about this new bug I found. Sometimes, when a lot of people are shooting my character, it just says "Game Over". WTF? So broken. This game is broken.

I'm always afraid when I see a Krogan stalking towards us and make my squad focus fire on it because I know it's gonna take a hell of a lot of flak to bring it down.

Krogan are supposed to be intimidating like that. If you die because one managed to get within the danger zone, that's your own tactical mistake.

I'd suggest lowering the difficulty if the game is to hard for you.

Exactly. Always kinda cool when I hear "Krogan Charging!" before looking around and... pain.
