Look, I have a sense of humor like anyone else. In fact I pride myself on my sense of humor at points, but still when you see a character you like subjected to inflammatory insult after inflammatory insult over and over again with ruthless and mean cruelty, you seriously lose your sense of humor about this whole thing in a hurry and let me tell you, it burns a bitter hole in your heart that results in anger, annoyance and sudden lust for violence.

Until everyone else knows what it's like to go around KNOWING that one of their favorite characters is reviled and loathed for stupid reasons, and that the B.S that gets said about them is accepted one hundred percent as fact, and that the only way they will ever appear in common works by the main fanbase is through harsh insults (seriously, most aren't even jokes. If Ashley were a real person she could probably sue for the way people portray her in web comics) I don't think I am in any position of judgement.

Until you know how it feels to go about on the web and get involved with friendly conversation with people, constantly terrified about how they might percieve your fandom of a certain character and having everyone turn on you with harsh accusations the instant you mention that you happen to like said character... you just don't know how it feels.

Like I said, this isn't that bad. I like South Park. But the fact that it's happening here too is just the cyanide icing on the cake filled with broken glass forced down my throat while everyone gets to scoff delicious white chocolate caramel mudcake.

It is a true testimate to Biowares storytelling and character development were there are arguments amongs fan about the potrayal  of a fictional character in an artist's art. Even the fact, that the same fictional character is hated by fans for doing something she was written to do.  Note that i mean no offence to anyone, just stating how i see it..
Love the South Park comic, well drawn.

You have a vague idea of how much of this kind of crap there is about MY favourite character? Or about ANY other ME character for what it means? I can undestand your feeling 'cause I pass trought them usually, but letting the insults and the trolling depress you so much brings to nothing. You like Ash? Who cares about what the haters says? Also, this is not an anti-Ashley place... there are strips and vignettes pro or anti any character if you take a look on the topic since the beginning...

Hey, I am a Talimancer. Who's character gets a lot of unjustified hatred? Though I admit Tali's fanbase is an eenyweeny bit larger but still... [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie] Yet I rarely get too upset when she gets a lot of totally false crap thrown on her, in fact I find some of them amusing or even hilarious. Strong sense of irony (and self irony) and sarcastic humor. Makes a life much more pleasent and funny. Though I admit if I ever hear my loved ones insulted SERIOUSLY, I get almost homicidally pissed... But this thread is all tongue in the cheek and I really dont understand how can you get angry, I honest to God dont... Perhaps our brains flow in completely different wavelength I dont know.

After Horizon, I went back to ME1 and left Ash to burn on Virmire so she wouldn't plague my second ME2 playthrough.

Seriously though, who cares? Pretty much all the characters get made fun of in these strips, that's the point. Just ignore the trolls who legitimately hate your favorite characters, whatever the reason.

And also, for the last time, I posted this 'cause I thinked it was funny to see the ME's character South-Parked... not with the intention of spread hate agains Ash or so, I'm not that kind of person. There're alredy enough trolls who do that job. You want continue to whine or isult? Fine, your call. But I can assure that you'll be ignored.

Why thank you i think i will. I don't give a crap what "you intended" that comic insulted and offended me. What am i supposed to say?
