I'd like to record videos of my Mass effect 2 gameplays . How can I do it? I'm playing Mass Effect 2 on Xbox 360 and I think I should connect the console to my PC.

I need your suggestions.

Thank You.

You'll need to shell out a few dollars or pounds or whatever currency you use.

Just a sec, will edit post when I find the link.

Here we go, this page should give you all the info you need:

I did it dirty and just set up a higher end camera on a tripod and just recorded so figuring this out would be great. The quality actually came out pretty good, although posting it on youtube makes it look worse than what it is.

Thank you for your assistance. I knew it would not be an easy task. I was reading the paragraph about DVD recorder when I had an idea.
The article says this procedure requires to convert the DVD video files into a format compatible with YouTube.

But If I use a recorder with a hard drive It should save the files in .AVI or .MPEG2/4 format. Thus they will be ready for upload. A little editing, Windows Movie Maker should be enough, and the videos should be ready to be uploaded.

Am I correct?

Thank You for your assistance

I need your assistance, fellow Mass Effect fans.
I cannot find a method to record my gameplay using the HDMI cable for my xbox. I’d like to continue to use the HDMI cable but it seems there is no way to record the gameplay and playing with HDMI cables.
Can any of you help me? Is there a way to play via HDMI and recording my Mass Effect gameplay?
Thank You.
