during your mission in the "broken" collecter vessel Joker finds some information to which commander shep. says, " the same ship dogging me for two years. Way beyond coincidence." And when you use the omega 4 relay there are only two collecter ships that are there.
So my question is are there ONLY two collecter ships in existance?

They never really say...Logically, they'd have a small fleet of them. Especially if they had plans to take on Earth.

I assumed that there are more than 2. They just only use 1 ship because they are more powerful than current ships. They didn't have time to launch the others after you destroyed the first.

My thing is did anyone see that next to the collector base was a reaper floating next to it. In the holo display you can clearly see it...was it the shell for the human reaper or a separate one?

They had the collector homeworld, and one ship. If you want to count the homeworld as another ship then there's 2 I guess.

It's not really a ship though..or even a "home world". It's just a big space station.

Who needs a fleet of Collector ships when a Reaper armada is on the way?

The Collectors, like Sovereign, are more like scouts than a fighting fleet.
