 Well, 

Since the arrival  of dragonage I've had thoughts  to make  a big module for  dragonage.  
A mod  where the player starts  from scratch in  vast  wasteland  after a great cataclysm.  past cities are lost  in ruins. The   civilations  tries  to rebuild  life in the new formed lands and so  got you the chance to make you're  life known. 
But  what way will you go . will you  be the grand  hero or  the  ultimate master of dark forces  everyone fears. 

My main idea is for the player to be  possible to choose from mutliple  ways  to  live his  life  in the land hand  his stories.   You're able to  become  good or evil or something  in between.  to build up  a  guild  from the start or a dark cult or religion.  I will not  get to deep in it yet  and  i'm still setting  up  the  main foundations  for this mod.


In the past I've tried to  make some mods  in nwn , but never came far. now  with dragonage i want to take my  time  next to  off gaming to reallize my stories in a mod . also later on  let  the  land evolves on comments and idea's.

in The coming weeks  I'll try to set  up a  website that will bring updates a long with  rumours , stories of the land where to start from. 


I'm ready to hear  from  you all about this  mod  aswell if there is  someone who  wants to help or to try it out when it's done

try to start with little things. i think that's the biggest problem a lot of new modules are suffering of. you can't create a whole new game by yourself in a decent timeframe. sometime you get sidetracked and everything will collapse. first try to play around with the toolset and put away that website, it's just needless weight. if you feel comfortable with the tools you can form out your campaign, like what's possible and what's too ambitious. for example vast wastelands (at least in the meaning of lowlands) are difficult to create.

I agree that i need some training. in it. and i think that yes that mod will prob start small and expand in time.



as for learning toolset i think i can first use some small quest stories to get around in it. these small stuff can later be put in the bigger pieces as part of the whole project

like photografy, I'm just working out how to fit gamebuilding and other things in my new lifestyle of the last years
