Since the cloak drops once you take any shot and I've found that AC lasts long enough to let you set up almost anywhere as it is, the extra seconds are kinda useless IMHO. The damage bonus is far more desirable.

I ran circles around horizon Pratorians and Scions using Assassination Cloak in NG+ Inf.

Yea, It would be a much harder choice if you were able to get 2 Widow shots off while cloaked.
As it stands +2 sec does not = Damage bonus.

Enhanced cloak. The 35% extra damage is nice but the 2 extra seconds in cloak will allow you to skip entire sections, which is pretty handy on insanity to counter the cheap endless hordes of geth on haestrom. There are several times where enhanced will allow you to run to the end. Haestrom, Collector ship, Legion loyalty etc...
This never even occurred to me, I guess because I actually like the combat in this game. But if you were doing a speed run, or just liked the dialog ... hmm. So you just leave your squad behind and scoot ahead to the next dialog interaction? I guess since you're not getting XP per kill, you don't even really miss out on anything in terms of character advancement, right?

If you want to play more Pistols/SMG with Snipers to clear a path to get into close quarters then take Enhanced Cloak. The extra 2 seconds makes a difference.
If you speedrun take Enhanced Cloak. It makes it possible to do things like run to the shutters on Archangel's recruitment mission without having to shoot anything. Its that much harder to do it with 6 seconds of cloak time.

That would be a tough one -- I've tried it but a varren always runs through and resets the shutter. Or worse, Jacob pulls a vorcha through and resets it (way to keep your eyes on the prize, dude).
Even if you're not really speedrunning, it can be nice to have the ability to run past a fight when you're not in the mood for it. That seems to be the main advantage to Enhanced Cloak.

Did you actually kill all 180?

Even with assasin cloak I was able to run through the Husk zerg at the end of the collector ship mission.

Most annoying is the Tali recruitment mission. The hordes of Geth do stop, but if you go away (like I did, to clear the next area before doubling back and picking up both quest items at once) it starts all over again.Maestro Vivaldi wrote...

Yeah. That was annoying.
