Sorry if this has come up before been looking over the forums for this and cant find anything and Im getting desperate. Im unable to load saves and cant play and apparently its because of dlc? Since release day I have run into this error several times:
Unable to load save game as the required dlc is not present on the selected storage device. Please insert a storage device containing the required dlc, or download the dlc again.

amulet of the war mage
On the title screen when I hit Y I get this for about 10 seconds:
Connecting to dragon age servers...
And then:
The Dragon Age servers are temporarily unavailable. please try again.
Cant load any saves so cant really play, Ill wait a few hours and then try and it connects with no issues and I dont even notice and Im off and playing. At first I just figured maybe it was peak hours and the servers were having problems?? But its 4:30ish and I currently cant play due to the above. Anyone else on a 360 and getting the same thing? Anyone know a way to fix this? I have tried deleting the promo pack deals and still no go.

I would love to have this issue resolved as well.
I have to run a long wire from my router to my 360, so I prefer to play offline. Due to this issue I have to start the game online and then I can remove the wire.
My error message pops up about Embris many pockets, amulet of the war mage, lucky stone, and memory band.
The reason this happens, I think, is because Embris, amulet, lucky stone, and Helm of the deep are 1 of the promo packs and I chose Helm of the Deep when I hit download. I was not allowed to "download" the other 3 items, though the game says they are "downloaded". However when I try to run the game off-line at start-up I have the same issue you have.
The Memory Band and Fire Band I got have the same issue. I chose Fire Band when I downloaded so no issues with that one, but the Memory band is stuck in limbo with the other 3 items I get yelled at about.
My game just started up fine "on-line" btw.

I have the same "temporarily unavailable" problem - except I cannot even get on the servers once to DL any items (or even attempt to as some people are saying).
How can there be so much traffic that people cant log on to a server for essentially a single player offline game?

I was able to connect to the servers around 5:30 on Tuesday then at some point during the evening I got a prompt stating that the connection to the server was lost. Haven't been able to connect back to it since then.
