So, the whole "get stuck in the air without being able to move" thing is not important enough to fix?
People need to understand that a "Patch" isn't a magical thing that the developer can use to fix any issue, anywhere.
For example, that issue of getting stuck in the air is most likely comes either from problems with specific geometry in the levels, or with the way the engine moves the player around. Either possibility would require a significant amount of work to fix, if it could be fixed at all depending on the way the game was designed.

Au contraire, it's a great sign! Make sure it works, then focus on DLC.It's not a good sign when the patch comes out before the DLC. ;-)

Can't be sure if steam updated mass effect 2, i can only assume cause i was playing like an hour ago. How can i find out if mass effect 2 is patched?
Start the Configuration Utility and check the version number shown under "game".

Still, good job on the patch, though I haven't gotten any of the issues. :]

I understand that it has to go through MS certification but I want to know if this is going to be another BS move like DA:O. That game has only been patched to fix issues with achievements, not gameplay.
Xbox 360 versions OUTSELL the PC versions. How about we get some support too?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW is that the promissed dlc - COOL
Yep - already supposed to come this week by mod comment and this appears to be confirmation.
We're just waiting on the big announcement to hit so we can all cheer very loudly and give BW big hugs.
Checking ... every ... half-hour ... for ... announcement ...

Really? When'd they say it would come out this week?

I still don't know why the hammerhead wasn't just part of the orginal gameplay.
Because it wasn't a central part of the gameplay, and because Bioware didn't have time to finish it until the deadline. If they had, it would have been a straight-up DLC, no doubt.

Steam should update to the patch automatically, don't use the installer.
The installable patch is for non-Steam digital distribution users (ea store, d2d, etc) and users of the retail version of the game.
You didn't mention Stardock's Impulse. Morrigan disapproves -10.

it's not a tank, it's a hover-something. check your vehicle commans in the options menu: it says starfe left/right, so we can expect it to behave pretty much like controlling a walking characterArchNightshade wrote...

No more saltos or getting stuck vertically in one of the tunnels to Peak 15 though. I kinda liked the saltos, they reminded me of Carmageddon :innocent:deABREU wrote...

So, will there be an official announcement for the Hammerhead and Kasumi this week?
They're probably stalling launch for that GDC thing.
