Ok, so all non-prerendered video keeps stuttering and hitching every few seconds for about like half a second. I don't know why. I've tried literally every combination of video settings to avoid this. The audio does not stutter. This starts from the moment the "press any button" screen comes up. I've tried defragging my harddrive, installing new graphics drivers, etc. This is on the steam version. Its very frustrating.
The weird thing is it didn't used to do this. It literally started happening out of nowhere and I don't know why.
Its pretty sad that ME2 runs far better than this. Any help?

wow i'm an idiot. i solved the problem by turning off steam community interface. however, for just general good advice, defragging using defraggler really helped loading times by a lot.
